Her hair color etc looks very much like Saito's, plus they kind of pushed her onto him so quickly and so easily. It feels almost too perfect that she was there. It sets her up rather nicely to be brought down at the very end in some sort of bizzare turn of events. Also, I forget which episode, but she says her father is from the past.
