Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na Crescent Love: Episode 4
Impressions:
This anime is now the most idiotic piece of crap I’ve ever seen past episode two. The ONLY reason why I am still watching it is because apparently most of this episode was a filler, so the main storyline should be 100 times better, no? Seriously, I don’t watch Naruto but I am sure a lot of people would say that this filler is worse than the Naruto fillers. There’s ‘funny’, then there’s just plain ’stupid’. If you’re making a filler, at least make it in accordance with the rest of the anime and don’t just throw in completely random events in a random order with random overused chibi scenes and random everything else. Okay, maybe it wasn’t that random, but thinking of it as so eases the fault off the writers who came up with this crap. And I can’t believe the quality actually jumped to higher than episode 2. Why the hell would anyone choose to make a filler look better than a real episode, one that actually matters and has some importance to the storyline?! (Btw, I’m not really pissed right now as it might sound, I’m just trying to get the point across that this show now really, REALLY sucks!!!)
Moving on now, the one thing I saw that seemed to be serious enough was when Tatsuya was about to perform mouth-to-mouth on Feena, but then Wreathlit did something with her fingers and made Feena spout water. Did that really happen or did my eyes deceive me? She doesn’t have any…powers, does she? Hmm…in fact, I think this series would be much better off as a fantasy show, rather than a cheap rip-off of Tsuyokiss (that’s right, if you thought Tsuyokiss was bad [and I don’t], it’s nothing compared to Yoake!) The show started off with the potential to turn out as a nice, REALISTIC harem or at least school-life show. I really hope there will be no more fillers and the story will get a move on. I still can’t be sure about this series, even though it’s already a third of the way in. Let’s hope that the producers didn’t blow all their money on this episode and will have to save up for another two or three episodes before making another good one. That would be horrible. I really don’t want to stop blogging because I want to increase the size of my ‘completed’ list than my ‘incomplete’ list.

I’ve never seen a show waste so much potential so fast. I pray that the next episode redeems it, it looks like it’s going to be the “beach episode” which normally means goodness. If they SOMEHOW screw it up, then there’s no more hope and not even my loyalty to the FFF can stop me from dropping it.
I didn’t laugh at all during this episode. In fact I thought it was rather stupid and didn’t really accomplish anything except blowing up the father’s workplace. AND they’re already doing a beach episode and it’s only episode 5. Thats some crazy shit. I guess they already ran out of material to use.
It was incredibly stupid, the only redeeming point in the whole episode was when Feena went Sagara Sousuke on us, complete with emo facial distortions. Other than that, it was a complete waste of time. And I think the show is only going to be 12 episodes, so having a beach episode about halfway through isn’t totally unjustified…it better be good though.
So while this show isn’t really impressing me, at least Feena’s doing better than the other purple haired bishoujo this season, who I can’t believe managed to say “I sing for revenge” with a straight face.
…and to all those who thought I was talking about Jun, don’t worry, I feel your pain T_T

I’ve noticed that’s there are both quite a few winners and losers this season, and also a few that are hovering between the two sides. Unless someone does a serious fixer-upper here, Crescent Love will probably end up in the lose pile.
