Tsuyokiss: Episode 5

Impressions:
In need of money, Konoe Sunao finds a job at the curry shop ‘Oasis’, where it just so happens that Kanisawa Kinu is also working. The episode is all about them and their developing relationship (as friends of course!) By far the best episode so far, both in quality and plot. The animation was good and they didn’t screw up any faces. It was great to see everyone in casual clothing and Sunao and Kanisawa in their cool waitress uniforms. Kanisawa was exceptionally adorable this episode, as she didn’t go crazy that often. I wish she’d get more air time like this episode in the future, and it’d be great if she smiled more. I’m not sure if this series is actually going to be subbed past episode 1. Either the subbers have decided not to go through with it, are too busy or just plain lazy. I really hope it does get subbed. My faith in the series has been restored. I’m looking forward to the next episode – hope it’s as good as this one!

I think the premature vehemence spasmed out by gameplayers disappointed that their favorite path wasn’t being portrayed, combined with the usual registering of outrage by the anti-fanservice brownshirts; scared off any subbing effort.
I hate it when the haters jump the gun and mass condemn a series after one or two episodes. It always seems like the online equivalent of a “book-burning”.
