True Tears: Episode 8

Rating: 8.5/10

Impressions:

The fact that Noe is becoming so close to Shinichiro when there’s still 5 episodes left suggests that the current pairings may not reflect the end result very accurately. Of course, it could simply be a sign that the two will come across some obstacle in the near future, and must work to overcome it, but this obstacle may well be the cause of their possible undoing. I sure hope so, since I just can’t come to like Noe’s personality. Hiromi is still my favourite, though I have to admit all three girls have undergone some significant character development that has changed their original behavioural patterns quite a bit.

This show manages to keep things moving at a nice pace, and does not spare a moment of peace as whenever something is resolved, another matter pops up, or a lesser matter becomes more important. Aiko’s crush on Shin seems to have been crushed (ok, bad pun >_>), but this allows the situation between her and Nobuse to come to light again, and we’ll see what happens from here. Also, while Noe seemingly has caught her ideal fish (aka Shin), new factors have arisen, such as the conversations and happenings between Hiromi and Jun, that may well complicate things again. And with 5 episodes left, this is almost guaranteed to happen.

    As a Noe fan, it’s natural to hate Hiromi and vice versa. Anyway, in this episode, I’m starting to hate her more than ever, since she almost sound like Shin’s mother when she had the conversation with Noe.

    She need a good ol’ bitch slap. :(

    The most interesting part of this episode was not the episode itself, but the preview. During the episode, Shin’s mother hinted at Hiromi’s mother being “easy” due to speculations that Hiromi may be an illegitimate daughter to Shin’s father. And during the preview, as short as it is, it almost proves Hiromi to be “easy.” Now, that doesn’t mean that she will sleep with Jun for comfort and to run away from her feelings for Shin (this I am sure), but the fact that she ran away with him is pretty manipulative.

    Oh, how Hiromi and Shin’s mother are one and alike…

    DotAzam: yes thats true but its not like Noe has been perfect up until now. I don’t hate Noe anyway, i just like Hiromi better =]

    `x_Fenrir: i would say she doesnt deserve anything bad because, think about her situation and her family…its not exactly a happy one is it.

    Shin: it doesnt look to me like shes stripping coz she wants it at all. it seems more like shes doing it to prove a point or something. i highly doubt she is actually ‘easy’

    Hahaha, Danny, I was just playing. It didn’t sound like it but I’m sure that she was just getting clothes to wear, IF anything…

    But if Hiromi did sleep with Jun or teased him, I think I’m going to start comparing this to School Days but with a more PG-13 rating.

    HIROMI:
    Till now I thought Hiromi is a quiet person who just acts cold towards people BUT after hearing what she said to Noe who was just happy being together with Shin, I think she’s not only acting cold her personality is somehow cold, too.

    Of course, if ur jealous you may get angry but showing it like that is just wrong. Well, at least she realized what she said. >_>

    Hope she won’t dare becoming a b*tch, sl*t, h*e.

    NOE:
    Especially in this episode Noe gets on my nerve with her Raigomaru – she should less talk about her flying chicks, comparing Shin with a flying dude and behaving like a lil kid! Hello? You’re dating him and both know already they are in “love” (well at least Noe) go on and grab his hand for a kiss MOUTH TO MOUTH.

    AI-CHAN:
    Poooooor girl I was cheering for her! T.T

    Love is selfish and Hiromi is no exception, she does realize that and she hates herself for it. I’ll be disapointed if she use Jun as a pillow, he’s a decent guy up to now, might change opinion if he takes advantage of her. Selfish she is yet that shows her feeling toward Shin is real.

    If Shin ends up with Hiromi, either 1. Hiromi is not illegitimate daughter of Shin ’s father. 2. Shinichiro is not illegitimate son. 3. Incest
    I dun like any. Make Hiromi an angel or godess or even alien.. So she can be with Shin please TwT

    I don’t know yet which girl will be most fitting. Except for Ai, yea shes out of the picture. So it boils down to a chicken lover and a half sister, which “might” be illegal.

    @Danny:

    Anyways, but it’s still annoying how she just vent her anger on Noe. I mean she even suspects her for dating multiple guys or something :(

    Noe x Shin forever… ;___;
    Honestly, as much as I symphatize with Hiromi, I can’t help but feel that she brought upon herself all this agony she’s feeling right now. One might say she’s a victim of the circumstance she’s in, especially the harsh treatment from Shin’s mom. But then people should not allow themselves to become a victim, and simply put the blame on the ‘bad fate’ they have. They should do something to break away from this fate, and wield it according to the future they want. Once Hiromi is able to do that, I’ll see her in a different light.

    Otherwise, I’m all for Noe, who I believe can make Shin happy :)
