True Tears: Episode 6

Rating: 9/10
Impressions:
NOOOOO this means there is a possibility that Hiromi and Shin are related, as everyone probably already suspected. This basically means Noe’s chances of getting with Shin have skyrocketed, and she seems to be the ‘main’ girl if the ED has any say in things, but you still can’t rule Hiromi out yet. And the way Hiromi says it at the end clearly means she’s got feelings for Shinichiro, regardless of whether something like that may be forbidden or not. Now we know the reason for her being so cold to Shin and everyone else in the family, though she still warmed up to him unusually quickly. My guess is she gives up on him and accept him as her brother.
Speaking of just this episode, I reckon it was handled exceptionally well, especially with Hiromi’s final scene and Aiko’s confrontation with Nobuse. The latter essentially finally puts Aiko in the running for Shin, even though we all know it’s not going to happen anyway (unless they do what Shuffle did or something). Aiko as a character doesn’t intrigue me as much as Noe or Hiromi, and she’s too far from the centre of things to be a proper main character, but that could well change. For now, it looks like next episode will have Hiromi and Noe facing off for reasons yet unknown.
I’ve always thought this, but Shin’s mum is a royal bitch. I’m not going to try and justify or blame any of the characters for the reasons behind their respective actions (such as the family problem), but it’s no exaggeration when I say I really hate Shin’s mum. The fact that she’s being so cold to Hiromi, who has never done anything to her, and yet at the same time trying to be all loving towards Shin who lives in the same house is just shameful. Again, I’m not going to go into why she would do this, why she shouldn’t or why she should, but I guess this has to do with being able to relate to such a situation. Shin on the other hand, should really start standing up to his mum more.

Awesome episode! I don’t know who I want Shin to end up with, becuase I like all the possible options
The only one I don’t like in the series is Noe’s bother. don’t touch Noe and get away from Hiromi!!!! GRRRRR! and Noe is the best character of the season(maybe only Horo is on the same level). Her antics are just so funny to watch.
PS, Noe is the same age as Hiromi and Shin right? she just acts so much like a child sometimes that you think she has to be younger than them.
noexjun ftw!! lols
i dont mind jun, i reckon he’s awesome
All speculations are coming true. I don’t want to say that it’s becoming predictable but it really is to some degree. However, it’s still fun and keeps you on your toes. I feel bad for Nobuse but I saw it coming.
I’m sure Hiromi was cold towards Shin at the beginning because she knew and that she was trying to accept him as her older brother. Despite knowing this, she opts to get a little closer and not involve any feelings. She tries her best to keep their relationship at ’sibling level’ and keeps her private life to herself (and she gets irritated if violated). And the way she revealed a possible/probable truth about her true father to Shin confirms that she has feelings for Shin, and that she had tried to maintain that coolness until she broke down into tears.
Shin’s mom just needs to suck it up. If anyone, she should be angry at her husband, not the unwanted daughter. God, Hiromi’s still human and such a sweet girl. She doesn’t deserve the harsh treatment.
I love Noe’s cuteness and innocence. “Shin told me to leave him alone so I’ll listen to him.” She’s really dense, but damn, so cute.
I got to give credit to Shin. The main reason why I am watching True Tears is because his actions are not of typical harem male leads. He’s smart and pretty nonchalant but that doesn’t mean he’s not confused at times. He’s not jumping into conclusions, or at least riding by it because as an artist, he knows that a single mistake can ruin the picture.
The quality at the end was amazing. The coloring, the feel, pretty darn good. The music was very appropriate for the several truths (or possible/probable truth in Hiromi’s case) in this episode. I think I said a little too much but you can tell that this episode has been the best so far. I expect the quality to dip a little from here but I think True Tears clinched a secure spot as one of the better series thus far. Maybe I exaggerate, but man, it sure feels that way.
well i couldnt be happier this is great this episode was good, but i cant help to think that hiromi might be lieing about them being related in the end she said that she was a terrible person, we all though that she is terrible yes but at that moment telling ur brother that he is ur brother is not so terrible in my book
I think the terrible thing that she was referring to was her feelings for Shin.
i think it was a great episode. the last part was awesome and very sad but fist i saw some jokesubs which destroyed the whole atmosphere in the last part -.-
i still think that hiromi and shin will be a couple in the end even they are related. but in the subs i saw, hiromi said that only shin`s mother said that they are “maybe” related. maybe shin`s mother lied?
You forget, Hiromi overheard the conversation. Shin’s mom and dad might have been talking about it.
I believe Shinmother actually told Hiromi directly. The snow falling off the camellia symbolized that, even though we didn’t hear it. And the “maybe” is only one possible translation of “ka mo shirenai,” which could also just be a way of softening the blow when Hiromi tells Shin they are related. I can’t picture Shinmother making up something like that, which is so shameful and painful for her herself. But her “you remember that conversation” does make me wonder. It’s not the kind of thing anyone is likely to forget. Anyway, great show. Except that this ep had too little Noe.
Noe is as cute as ever. :3 anyway, poor Nobuse, he was being so nice, no he IS a nice guy and yet this happened to him. I wouldn’t blame him if he started to hate Shin. It’s just a natural reaction, but in time I guess they’d be okay again.
Yeah, Shin’s mom starts to bother me abit. Well, I guess we’ll see what’s gonna happen next episode.
*hint*cat fight!*hint*
arcanes: i dont mind all the options, tho i’d rather see some happy ending with hiromi and shin though
ShadowFang: dont like him at all =/ for obvious reasons
Shin: lol u should just start your own blog xD i reckon she was cold to shin more because she was afraid of her own feelings for him
shihouin: i hope everythings not true though. coz shin’s mum doesnt even know this for sure
hongi: like i said before, i dont think shin’s mum knows the truth. she’s probably only guessing as well, unless they did some DNA test, which i doubt. it would seem more like hiromi’s mum got pregnant after an affair with shin’s dad, which may or may not mean hiromi is his child
hashihime: see comment for hongi xD
DotAzam: i wonder what that fight will be about though….seems strange for either of them to be aggressive
Why do i sense a nice boat ending.. xD
@Danny:
“he’s my toy!”

Breaking news! Reports from the DNA Lab show that Shin’ichiro and I are not related!!! xD
