Impressions:
The timeline really confuses me here. I definitely need subs (I’m up to episode 4 with Shinsen), and I can’t make sense of in what order the episodes are. In the first episode, Toono describes that Tatsuma has been getting into fights alongside Kyouichi for two months, so I assume two months ago from the first episode is when episode 2 occurs. And from what I can tell, episode three occurs a while after episode 2. If episodes 3 to 7 follow one after another, then they should occur about one month after the events in episode 1 (or three months after episode 2). However, I am still very unsure about this and need to wait for the subs…
Anyway, this means that the anime has progressed a lot deeper into the plot than I originally thought, so now I’m once again pondering about how many episodes this will be. So far, AnimeNewsNetwork has 14 episode titles, so if a 15th one is revealed, I guess it’s safe to say that the show will be two or more seasons in length. The quality is still pretty strong, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to crash badly any time soon. Hopefully that will never happen, as there should be a lot more action coming up. This episode gives us another taste of that, so I’m wishing for some more serious battles to come.

Haha, I was confused about the timeline since episode 3 xD I’m sticking with the subs, no matter how slow they are xDD
The time line not as complicated as it seems. I am only up to where the subs are, but here is what I think is going on:
- Some time in the spring Tatsuma gets transfered to the school and meets everyone (episode 2)
- The night he goes to eat ramen with Kyoichi the girl with the violin dies (beginning of episode 1, and a short part where Tatsuma sees here running by in episode 2)
- A little while later everyone ends up at the old school building and gets their powers (end of episode 2)
- Hisui explains to them about the demons (flashback in episode 3)
- Aoi and Komaki go out into the city to search for demons and run into the the three guys and Hisui. This is when they team up to fight the demons(flashback in episode 3)
After that two months pass as the group hunt for demons
- The body of the girl is found in the river (beginning of episode 1)
- After that all of the events of episode 1 go in normal chronological order
- Episode 3 picks up right where episode 1 left off (Aoi is telling Kyoichi how he had a good idea to split up, so it means that they just finished fighting the demon from episode 1). Everything from this point on happens in the summer and except for the two flashbacks mentioned above episode 3 and the episodes following it are going in proper chronological order.

i gave my speculation about the timeline back in the comments on episode 4 (i usually comment after i watch the subbed version), na dyea, i admit, i’m confused, so very confused. Neverless, this episode seems AWSOMEEEE~ Seems to focus more on Kisaragi thou, but that’s not technically a bad thing… Is the first picture in the very last row of the characters in their previous life?

I’m starting to grow attached to the main bad guy. The weird dressed one, don’t know his name.(?) Aoi and Hisui looked deformed when they were little. I mean it looks like their necks might snap in half. So they knew each other sence kids? As for the time line, … I just go with the flow I know eventally I’ll figure it out.
