Impressions:
This always happens—I wait too long after watching something and forget everything when I finally get down to blogging it. I thought I ought to finish this up before the second season starts shortly, which I will be following subbed, not raw (I learnt my lesson already ^^;;). Anyway, I do remember a lot of action and bloodshed; the entire episode was simply mayhem…but in a very good way! The action is the main thing that makes this show great, while the plot is ok, though not intricate enough and the characters aren’t developed enough. I also like to think of this episode as the last of the season, since I have no idea what the f**k happened to episode 14.

Episode 14 was interesting in my eyes. It only made me anticipate the second season much more.
I could send you Ep. 14 of the subbed from Shinsen Subs before they deleted it off their site somehow.
I love this anime and this episode is by far my favourite. The scene between Hiyuu and Aoi is really sweet. Kinda makes it obvious who the couple will be next season.

You can find episode 14 at veoh.com if you look hard enough. Eps 15 and 16 are out, but unfortunately no one is subbing them. I really enjoyed this anime and got into it because of your comments on it. I wish they would sub the second season though!
WAIII!! The scene between Tatsuma and Aoi was so bittersweet T___T I loved it. I seriously thought that those two looked cute together as a pairing from the beginning x3
Anyways, this episode was by far, my most favorite! ^__^ I found episode 14 on veoh but the quality kinda sucks >__> The colors are really bright…burned m eyes >__

Nice! Syndicate released the beginning of the new season! I love their Darker than Black Episodes. Anyone know if they have a irc room?
I think they were being sarcastic about the appalling drop in animation/graphics/colours/everything quality in episode 14..
Luckily they’re back to their best with season 2, and thank fck for the lovely anonymous people who are subbing it, cos I was reduced to watching raws for the first time ever and it’s not a show that makes a huge amount of sense if you know no japanese whatsoever apart from insults and mutterings..
Worth it though
I may even buy this on dvd, if the subtitles have anything remotely resembling a sense of humour. However, the licensed trailer floating around on youtube suggests otherwise..
Syndicate are indeed heroes.
They’re probably untraceable for a reason, but if anyone knows any forum/website they post on I would grovel before their greatness, especially for picking up shows that people like Shinsen had to drop and doing them just as well..
Loved this entire series? what of the continuation though? at the last ep they stated it wasn’t done..
I really like this series, but I have only been able to watch ’till episode 9 on Veoh.com because the other eps aren’t subbed in English. Where did you watch this series? Can someone please tell me, so I can catch up?
