Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpucho: Episode 11

Impressions:
So the subs have caught up a bit, which means I will probably follow them now, instead of raws. Anyway, this episode is quite an informative episode, though scattered with action as well. We now know that Hiyuu and Kozunu have a connection from their ancestors, so I guess this makes Hiyuu the main guy (probably also means he is stronger than Kyouichi as well). I was quite saddened when Sayo is revealed to be dead. I was not sure what it meant when her hand was ‘dead’ in the photo, so this revelation was pretty shocking. She was my favourite female character as well, managing to grow on me in a few episodes.
The thing which I find lacking is character development, but not on the social side. I’d like to see them develop their powers and grow stronger, though you can argue that such actions would make the show more ’shounen’. The animation quality is still quite high, though I here it changes in a few episodes. I also wonder whether there will be a new OP or ED soon (if so, it should be halfway through the series). It would be nice if more characters are implemented into the story as well. It would be a nice touch if a new OP features new characters, as then there would be anticipation for such characters to appear (one that doesn’t die so quickly).
Edit: Ok…I just realised the number of episodes is only 14…but then the rest of the story should finish off at a later date…

Only 14?! Damn I was really starting to like this show. I guess with that high quality it couldn’t be 26 or so eps meh. Still one thing that bothers me a bit is the “level” gap between characters. Crow guy just clearly pwns everyone and Kisuragi is suddenly on the same power as Kyonichi? Oh well the awesomeness of the show more or less makes up for it

neways, about the episode. It was awsome~ Though i thought that it was strange why Kyouichi went to look for Tatsuma instead of Aoi. I mean… wasn’t Aoi the one who was technically ‘missing’?

Anyway I was under the impression that Hiyuu followed Sayo because she was a living dead, so he could get to Kodunze and “save” Aoi
I picked up this show only few days ago and was pleasantly surprised to see this was less generic shounen fighto show that I expected. As for episode count, I thought it was clear by episode 11’s events that the end can’t be more than several episodes away. Slightly disappointing was Aoi’s ‘tranformation’; instead of freely switching sides or submitting the Bodhisattva Eye’s power to the bishie villain dude, it looks like she is simply being ‘possessed’ by the Eye’s power or mind-controlled and will doubtlessly revert to old self after that has been dealt with. Which makes predicting the three last episodes bit too easy.

It looked like Hiyuu had absolutely no idea what was happening to Aoi in the meantime. He went to Kodzune so he could save Sayo.
Aoi annoyed me until this episode – yay!
Finally she can do something useful. Even Orihime is a whole lot cooler than she is, seriously, does it really take something like a jump to the dark side to bring her character out? 
SOrry to sound so cutting… I had my doubts when I first started watching this anime, and despite the one annoying character, I was actually hooked until suddenly… no more subs! >_
