Sky Girls: Episode 9

Impressions:
So the real battles finally begin. The fight simulation at the beginning of the episode is something I would have expected to see from the first episode of Sky Girls. Background information, development, and explanation on the Sonic Divers and their unique Delta Lock attack—they would all come later. Shows that plunge into action immediately, and save talk for later, are generally better than those with a standard plot structure, with a gradual build-up of characters, action etc. Well, I guess you can treat the OAV as the first episode that takes viewers straight on to the battle field.

I thought you would give a higher score than 7.7 since it was the first real battle. Then again, the fight was kinda OK once I watched it again.
