Impressions:

Definitely the best episode thus far—the action is actually animated really well, while things just keep happening one after another, as Marcosias mentions in this episode. Konoe’s mystery is finally solved, as it turns out she is simply a faux body (perhaps similar to the one Pheles uses) of Hecate, though the emphasis on the memories Konoe has of her friends makes me think that it will change something within Hecate, perhaps making her reluctant in any future dealings with Shana and co. It’s also interesting to see that she possesses quite a strong power and is able to stand up to a Flame Haze.

I really love the Shana x Yuuji moment in this episode, and was once again hoping she would finally confess, but it doesn’t happen. What worries me though, is the figure in armour that appears from within Yuuji. It’s definitely part of a large scheme of the Bal Masque, and the sheer importance of this project suggests that the armou-clad being will eventually face off with Shana and the ‘good guys’. Yuuji also seems to be obtaining extra powers, but it’s quite cloudy regarding whether these powers will do him good or bad. There’s still a question of what role Johan will have in this (if he’s still alive).

Note that Hecate is the ‘Priestess’. There is still no ‘King’. (anyway…gonna watch the next episode NOW)

i think the most important question is, who the silver armored guy is.
and i still didnt see the morph guy (who fought margery in the 1st season) in the 2nd season yet. shouldnt he be always togehther with hecate?

Agreed, this episode was damn awesome XD

Haven’t seen such well animated action in so long, I almost died in ecstasy 8D

Pity 16 was such a mediocre follow-up =X

Xjellocross: yeah…but i like the next episode as well. i wouldnt call it mediocre at all, since thats what follow ups are meant to be anyway

Ugh I guess some more Yuji x Shana is better than nothing. But I read the english translated version of Fight Day, the novel part where Shana fights Margary and they sound closer in their than currently in the anime. It’s veerry annoying. Heck in the Movie they seemed closer. Yuji’s unbelivebaly dense at times, the new op gives me a litttle bit of hope for him but not much.

You can buy the novels in America, but there are only 2 volumes so far, which is into the Margery Daw arc.

omg this episode was soooo awesome really is the best yet i wish i knew the name of the song that was played when philes just came at the fair wen the anime was about to finish like a orchestra or some sort that music was awesome yoshida needs to give up on yuji seriously now, he’s too far from her reach and i wish that johan will come out again philes and him looked soo happy and i wish yuji will be ok after he comes out of him johan that is ^__^
