Wow, what can I say? Well for one, this show really fails hard. Actually no, it WOULD fail hard if it wasn’t for Kotono, who is one of the cutest lolis I have ever seen. Her aquamarine hair also does her justice, however, her voice is pretty crap and unfitting in my opinion. Well, like I’ve said before, voices don’t affect me much as I get used to them quickly. Heck, by the end of the show I think I’ve already gotten used to Kotono’s voice. I am really not sure whether I should blog this show or not. Depending on the next episode, I will decide whether to follow this series or not, and after that decide if I will blog it. Currently, the only thing which is saving this show from total shit-ness is Kotono. Perhaps when the yellow haired loli gets more screen time, she will serve as another saving factor for this show. I have to admit that I only finished this first episode because of Kotono. The reason why this show fails though, is because it looks like some old American kids’ cartoon. Seriously, the way the adult characters act, the cheesy costumes and the horrible colouring just scream Disney.

Short Summary:
Ok, so basically, this is show about two/three loli detectives…actually, I’m not even too sure about that. Well anyway, the show starts off with some news reports of kidnapped kids. Apparently, there’re these mask wearing card-using magicians who are looking for a specific kid, and in order to find him, are kidnapping children randomly. We first meet Kotono as she tries to stop one of these magicians from kidnapping a kid, but she is thwarted by a flock of pigeons from under the magician’s hat (yeah cheesy as hell I know). And btw, Kotona uses one of those old, pedal powered planes while the magician just flies basically. Hella old fashion.

After getting defeated and crashing into someone’s home, Kotono goes back to headquarters of whatever agency or business she’s involved with. She is with her partner, Natsuki, as well as two adult men. (come to think of it, I don’t know how old Kotono and Natsuki are…for all I know they could be in their 20s even). Well anyway, Kotono tries to find the face of the magician on her database, before she starts heading home. On the way though, she notices a little boy crying, who in the end turns out to be the special boy that the magicians are looking for (I’m assuming).

In the meantime, Kotono takes the boy to a nearby church and asks him some questions, though it seems he has lost his memory. He is unable to even remember his own name. Elsewhere, the magicians are discussing their kidnapped kids, but none of them are the boy they are looking for. Suddenly, the magician from before crashes in from the glass roof above and captures the boy. Kotono goes after him in her flying contraption, managing to force their battle onto the ground. The magician then starts firing off magical projectiles from his staff and seals Kotono in a realm of her own painful memories.

Hearing the boy’s voice though, Kotono manages to break free of the fake world and retaliate. She manages some fast moves to get the magician on the ground and take back the boy, though the magician decides to give them the ‘finishing blow’, and his staff starts to glow red as he charges his attack. Just in time though, the boy places his hand on Kotono’s forehead and empowers her with some mysterious magic. She is given a sword and a nice costume to go with it. She then easily defeats the magician and has him taken away by the police. She herself though, doesn’t remember a thing when she reverts back to normal.

This series seems like its something worth watching, I think ill give it a try once the subs are out. You have a nice idea with your screenshots there with the logo in the middle of the screenies looks real nice, id do it too but I cant be bothered uploading more than one set of screenshots let alone add a logo rofl.
Oh and lets become affiliates. I think thats the right word…
prince leon: i decided to go raw this time…it turns out the those who are meant to be subbing it are Ryoumi, who also have many other projects which they are behind on…so it doesnt look to be coming out very soon
tokidoki: yeah, added your blog
Hmm, I might just have to watch it raw myself for the moment.
And on another note, I like the change to the blog. Though I still can’t center my links at the very top of the blog for some reason. T_T
