Anime: Elfen Lied ED The ending theme of the famous Elfen Lied (a pretty f**ked up show if you ask me) but nonetheless a good song by Chieko Kawabe. I’m also pretty sure this is the only song of her’s I’ve heard of. Anyway, I’ll be doing a post soon with all the past ‘Now Playing’ songs up for dowloading, if you haven’t figured out how to do it yet. Most them have expired anyway, but they should return in a few days. Oh yeah, I did say I was going to upload some more Tsuyokiss songs didn’t I? I’ll do that too… |

:O I agree! Erufen rido is one of da bestest animez EVARR! (if you can get past the blood and guts and fanservicy stuff its actually quite a wonderfull show about human nature with romantic overtones)

I’ve never seen Elfen Lied, but I heard a lot of things about it xD Seems like it’s a good series.

Dude, that’s part of the attraction for some of us. Though it’s definitely got more than that to offer… one of my top ten for sure.
Having an upbeat song as the ED actually enhances the show IMHO. It’s like you see Nyuu crying in the rain or Lucy committing a horrific act of violence or whatever to end an episode, and then it’s like, “Baby I wanna be your girl” with the guitar and all. The incongruence matches a series which contains some of the most touching and some of the most jarring moments in all of anime.
Elfen Lied is one of the BEST there is

I started to like Chieko Kawabes songs after watching Elfen Lied, so i give it some more credit for it…

@Andrew F - Well i personally dont think the nekkid gurls and bloody organs are a cause for concern, i just mentioned that because some people i know were just turned off from it because of that stuff..i guess some people can’t handle greatness -sigh-
Hello Elfen Lied is the best series Japanese that and I dress in my life is the best has of everything I advise it him(you,them) to the whole world to be Mays, 12, years that are the years that I have. It(she) is fantastic has of all fear, blood, violence, love … it is the best I am charmed with it(him,her) and because of it my favorite name is Lucy Nyu I would like Nanna but I like it(him,her,you) mas Lucy Nyu is that the first time that I saw her was very afraid but after one month I spend(pass) the fear to myself but also I am charmed with the song Elfen. Lied. (ED) .be.your.girl is the best and also the sonorous band of Elfen Lied
I really liked this series, but once in a while I felt there was a little too much violence. Some of it was just plain over-the-top. Does anyone know where I could download this song? I also really liked the opening theme, “Lilium”. The Latin in that song is really beautiful.

Just finished watching the show. It was GREAT! I love Nyu.
Don’t insult Elfen Lied! It’s such a powerful anime and such a wonderful show. Every aspect (even the intense gore) portrays meaning and you develop a love for the characters as they develop love between themselves!
I like this song for the ending credits. The intro song for each episode was fitting for the Lucy personality. And the end credit song was fitting for the Nyu personality. That’s how I looked at it, anyway.
Well, I must admit that I was confuzzled about the name… Does anyone here care to explain like if there’s some reference to it? Am I just dumb or does ‘Elfen Lied’ have some kinda meaning that I missed?

I’d give it a 9.5, just cause it was great, storyline applied…but all of the unnessesary (did I spell that right?) violence and nudity (not to mention RAPISTS xP) I mean…human violence is tolerable i suppose…but PUPPY KILLING?? *sniff*
this was one of the best anime i ever watched
plus it was awarded and voted by fans as best anime in 2004 and i think 2003 and yes blood, killing and violence is what attracted me to watch this anime but I also liked the sub romantic story pretty pro

Elfen Lied means Elfen Song in Dutch or German. I have no I what they are refering to with the title (horns?)

I think elfen song is referring to the music box theme song (the very melancholic one) that played throughout the series.
