Impressions:

Everything’s gotten out of hand. This is meant to be about Satou’s hikikomori problem, but now it’s about Satou’s inability to hold himself back from such shameful acts. He really has become crazy, downloading 120bgb of porn! Going through all those games was a bit much as well. I already have the next episode but haven’t gotten round to watching it yet, but I assume Satou returns back to normal next time. I hope the show gets back to its original plan (what am I saying? All this was planned! What I mean is I hope they go back solving Satou’s hikikomori problem). I’m anxious to find out what Misaki’s project is and why Satou is perfect for it. Maybe I should start reading manga…

Brief Summary:

A dating game. Yes, that’s what Yamazaki has decided to make with Satou. It is called ‘eroge’ in Japan, or for a softer term, ‘galge’. Satou knows what they are, but has never actually played one before. He thinks that if he makes a game like this, full of ‘bishoujos’ (pretty girls), Misaki will get the wrong idea. Yamazaki explains to Satou the popularity of such games and illustrates a fantasy where the two are famous game designers, rich with a large company and hundreds of admirers. Satou becomes convinced in the end, his excitement of the project soaring. Yamazaki lends him some galge games that he personally feels are the better ones of the industry. Satou plays them into the night. He is at first unfamilliar with them and tries to please all the girls at once (but of course that won’t work!) He calls Yamazaki in the middle of the night several times, trying to solve his problem. He manages to make it to the end but there are no ‘rewards’ (scenes of the characters finally giving in to their bodily urges to the player…hehe). He chooses a girl who looks like Misaki, and after several consultations with Yamazaki, he is finally able to see the scene he had desired – but it’s already in the morning.

He spends the week going through all the games, already obsessed with them. He has gotten into it so much that he has forgotten about the game he’s meant to make to show Misaki. Satou returns to his senses and spends the day listening to Yamazaki as he explains what they need to do for the game. Satou is placed in charge of the scenes – how the gamer meets the girls, how the interact, which pictures to show etc. As he is thinking about his job at night, he goes over the fact that he only knows two girls: Misaki and his senpai from high school. He dreams/thinks (not really sure if he falls asleep or not) about a time when Kashiwa-senpai had been feeling down, and had asked if he would feel sad if she were to suddenly die. Satou is woken by Yamazaki at the door, who has a stack of porn for Satou for ‘inspiration’. Satou quickly turns into an ‘ugly, pathetic and filthy hentai otoko‘, which means ‘ugly, pathetic and fithy perverted man’, or just ‘ugly, pathetic and filthy pervert’ (to quote Yamazaki). He fills his 120gb harddrive with porn and accidentally deletes some important system files. When Yamazaki comes to help, he discovers Satou’s obvious stash of porn and makes him realise the type of man he’s become. Ashamed of himself, Satou tells Yamazaki to take a picture of him being shameful so he can see himself and change. He runs outside to the school, prepared to take secret pictures of school girls. Yamazaki runs away as Misaki comes and catches Satou in his dirty act. She asks him if he’s a lolicon, which he denies, but fails to prevent himself from getting excited when a sudden breeze sweeps across the road, blowing all the girl’s skirts up. Misaki seems glad though, as she finds Satou perfect for her project.
