New Poll: Which of the two Higurashi icons is best?

So erm, the question is simple. Which do you like better out of the two Higurashi icons above? They’re to replace the Death Note icon in the top 5 section (top 5 for me), as obviously Death Note has finished. I may replace the Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpucho one as well if I find one better than it when the second season starts. Anyways, please vote!

    Umm I haven’t watched the show so I find the one on the right a good bit more appealing. The one on the left seems quite “generic” to me. I guess it depends on whose attention you want to grab — folks familiar with the show, or folks unfamiliar with it.

    The Rena Icon! u_u I love the other one too, but rena is a more important character in the anime, and in the other hand… the icon has a bit of blood, that in someway reflects the essence of Higurashi XD!

    Agreed with Sciro’s I think the right ones cuter and its nice to show a surprise for people who come here thats new get a bigger one once they read your blogs XD. I mean 2 loli’s is better than one KILLER loli ;D

    you already have one “lovely girls” icon (lucky star), so torn up rena would fit better since there isn’t anyone beat down in your current icons

    I personally do like the Rena one more, but, to Anonymous, I think Rika is actually more important than Rena, if you’re following the second season or know what Higurashi is really about.

    Given the Rika theme to be expressed in season 2, I think I’d go with the right option. Besides, that pose is classic.

    Rena for the win! I like the “suspense” displayed in the Rena one. It makes you want to ask, “HOSHAT. WHAT’S HAPPENING IN THAT ANIME.” Or whatever. At least, that’s just my opinion.
