Naruto ~ Shippuden: Episode 21

Impressions:
I have a strong feeling that if the pacing was normal, the anime would’ve gotten to this part at episode 8 or something. The good thing is that so far it’s being animated pretty well. It’s pretty annoying with all the sudden cuts from fight to fight—it would be a lot more engaging if Naruto’s fight came into focus after Sakura’s. Although doing them in a joint fashion gives the sense of pairing between Naruto and Sakura, both fighting to get Sasuke back, which I dunno is even possible, judging by how things are going in the manga, the sudden cuts are just too distracting (even Gai’s team and the sand guys are interrupting.

Sakura’s fight doesnt even really get anywhere for about three more episodes and it still isnt over then. I mean i used to really love this anime but its falling into dbz territory. Im still going to watch it though because i have watched so much its hard to stop
I think most of the people, who watched Naruto up till now, are in the same situation as you, likewise.
It’s dragging out into space, hell! I think the manga, is for now, far enough away from the animation. They should stop this tiring, over and over same attacks, thinking BS.
When the other peps were talking bad about Naruto i realy was pissed off, because they compared it to DBZ but now i can understand it, but only now since they seem not to improve in any way.
They might drag it out a little bit too much, but the quality is generally very good since shippuden started. Im currently enjoying it, definately much better than bleach.
Yeah, I mean I’ll still watch but only because I have nothing else to do.

I agree, i would also love to see more engaging fight scenes. After all the shippuden series needs to take in to consideration a few years of training, so we should see more engaging fight sequences. The consistent cuts and scene changes are getting exceptionally annoying.

- I strongly agree – the characters explain their moves/plans/motives during the battles extravagantly – and it is extremely irritating.
To be honest, i still rather be watching a slow paced manga based anime than a fast paced filler filled story line. We can only hope that when the important battles come the quality stays high and our adrenalin level get as excited as they did back in the early naruto days.
i think i would actually like fillers better than this. as long as its funny like the kakashi’s mask one!
I find the Shippuuden series great, and if you morons don’t like it then don’t watch it. ^^ Simple.
I think naruto rocks for its awesome fight scenes
We never say that Naruto shippuden sucks. We said that the pace of plot is too damn slow. I remembered when I read the manga and this fight was awesome. However, the anime dragged this fight too long. I don’t want something like this to happen like in Death note where the pace of the story-line was slow in the beginning and then speed up too fast toward the end. I want it to be consistent. That is why I stop watching this series for a moment and basically just read the manga.
Naruto Shippuden started out good and it got stuck with the Puppet Master… tooo toooo tooooooo sllooooooowwww that it kills the fun of watching it. On top of that, the series does not even air every week. This sucks

I loved the naruto anime. Then the fillers came out, so i started reading the manga. Naruto shippuden is a shell of naruto manga. There is a anime only arc after every actual saga in naruto manga. fighting is boring it never changes, and the fillers are plain dumb. As soo as i see sasuke kill ittachi and uchiha madara tell sasuke that itachi was a good guy.(which is the truth) then i will never watch this shitty anime again
