Impressions:

Finally, the two simultaneous battles have finished, with this episode taking the number of manga chapters covered to almost 16. What the fights lacked in pure high quality action are made up by the various characters’ contributions and skill usage, though I wonder if fights like these get old for those who’ve watched Naruto since the beginning. I don’t really count the manga since manga fights are pretty hard to follow, which I usually skip anyway, since action should be reserved for animated mediums (IMO). Overall, the past few episodes have been quite enjoyable, though it is clear that the pace has been reduced to snail-pace.

It is interesting to see the power differences between Akatsuki and Gai’s/Kakashi’s teams. As it should be revealed in the next episode (I haven’t seen it yet), the two Akatsukis only use a fraction of their power in this recent fight. I would have seen it coming if only Naruto gets involved (since I don’t think his Rasengan is that powerful anyway), but to think that Gai’s multiple gate-releases would probably only do so much against a fully powered Akatsuki seems to be pretty disproportional. Or maybe I just like Gai xD. Same goes for Kakashi though, since his powers don’t seem to allow him to match up with Itachi at all…guess Naruto still has a long way to go.

Dear webmaster

I just wander why do you still posting the naruto shippuden episodes. I never see you rate any episode higher than 8, which may conclude that you do not enjoy this series that much. Also, you are posting 5 episodes slower. Don’t give me wrong. I think you are doing a great job for blogging these animes. I check your website almost everyday. I just think that you should posting the animes that will make yourself more enjoyable.

Dear Danny.

I am still confusing. Your last 5 ratings for these naruto shippuden are 8.4, 8.6, 8.7, 8.7, and 9; however, according to your new rating, all of these episode ratings are less than 7, so am I suppose to go by your new rating or not.

well sorry, i thought u were talking about my old ratings. In any case though, being higher than a 5, it does mean i actually did enjoy them (6-7 is decent-good yeah?) I’m not saying i don’t like the show, and I’m doing my best to catch up as well.

if your reading the manga you will know why he rated it a lil lowere its because the anime is taking forever i mean it took 4 episodes for the whole kakashi sakura naruto reunion battle to take place granted they were switching back and forth with garra but really they are stretching it to an extream to keep the manga far far ahead.
