Naruto dropped by Dattebayo
Uh-huh, it’s true. Check the news on their website. Naruto has been dropped by Dattebayo due to financial reasons or something like that. In it’s place; Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Do I care about any of this stuff? Not really. Well, this also presents the chance that Bleach will be dropped too, but I wouldn’t really mind that much, since the fillers are ending and I’ve read the manga so yeah…I discovered this news from Retsgip, and he presents an interesting point about whether he will continue blogging it. Well, I will apply this to Bleach. If it does get dropped, I will continue blogging no matter what. But to get back to the subject of Naruto, I’m not sure of the exact reason for the financial issue behind it getting dropped. I wonder if they will resume it if the fillers end. Will the increase in Naruto’s popularity when the fillers end have any impact on this issue? Well anyway, off to watching some more anime!
EDIT: OK OK I just re-read it. It says they won’t be picking it up again even if the fillers end. Oh well.

Still, if they say it’s a joke then I’ll believe them since they have the stupid habit of making heaps of fake subs and such, which I have only fallen for once when I hadn’t found out about there not being an episode of Bleach some time ago, as well as not reading the url properly.

Meh, whatever - the show has been nothing but poor quality filler for the best part of a year now, and Dattebayo have taken on a really arrogant attitude these past few months. Naruto’s too popular to remain unsubbed for long, so someone will pick up where they left off if they do drop the series. If they drop the series I won’t miss the crappy filler, but I’ll certainly miss the main storyline. If they ever get around to animating it, that is. =/

DB is canceling Bleach…..now what, they put up a retarded show to replace it? This better be a troll. Now if NARUTO was canceled…it think the staff would be dead real fast. I just want to know another website that would be able to sub Bleach instead of DB, any ideas?
I can say with confidence that DB will not be cancelling subbing Naruto or Bleach. Other then the YHBT mark as evidence, it would be a huge financial mistake for DB. DB is pretty much known as the group that subs Bleach and Naruto and if they stop doing so, they will just be forgotten and people will find a new “favorite sub group.” People thank DB and all but really there is no loyalty unless people get what they want.

Yep, they sure were serious…next time before you guys flip out…check to see if Japan even aired an episode…if they go a week without posting a sub for an episode that was released then you can worry. They like to mess with us and since it’s free you can’t be mad at them having some fun with us.
