Impressions:

The amount of censoring made the episode lacking, though it’s still quite enjoyable. Chikage’s insanity when it comes to these things makes her one of my favourite characters. She’s also surprisingly cute when she realises she is a normal girl and does take a liking to guys. Hmm, it seems like it’s the crazy characters that get my liking, as Chikage and Machi are probably the craziest among the Airantou characters. I hope there will be more characters with such abnormal personalities like them, even if they are generic, as it’s things like this that make the show hilariously entertaining.

Probably a lot of the show has been censored, but I have never realised until now, as I decided to read the chapter of the manga from which this episode was based on. Apparently Chikage is meant to be butt naked when she peeks at Ikuto, and she clearly does manage to see the ‘thing’ that she had hoped on seeing. But at least her blushing while admiring Ikuto’s body is emphasised in the anime (the manga had her take a glance and grin mischievously. Overall, Chikage is much cuter in the anime than the manga, thankfully. Because of things like this, I’m not sure whether I like the anime or manga version of this show better.
