Impressions:

I really didn’t like this part of the manga much, as a story about talking cats and dogs isn’t all that attractive, especially when there’s still plenty of Machi to animate. The second half of the episode is a lot better at least, though it feels a lot like some rehash of another story that’s already been told. I’m not saying it’s getting boring, as it’s still far from that, but I just really can’t wait until the big turn of the show where Suzu actually develops feelings! Being 26 episodes, it’s only normal that something like this won’t come until later. But seeing as how there’s already around ten volumes released in Japan, there’s either going to be a sequel or the anime will just end untimely…

I really can’t wait until the anime exceeds the manga that has been scanlated, which is about volume 4. Since the scanlations have stalled, I’m itching to find out what happens next in the anime. If it jumps from chapter to chapter randomly, it does mean a lot of stories will be missed, but at the moment, it’s the overall relational development that I’m interested in. So far, Ikuto’s harem just sees him either as a friend or a potential husband, but it doesn’t seem like anyone’s developed true feelings for him yet (so far they’re just in the form of female urges and loneliness).
