Impressions:

I found myself really enjoying this episode when I watched it, probably due to the nice and cheerful feel it has. Not only does it develop the characters of Alto and the others, it also makes the sci-fi setting a lot firmer. This is done through the well incorporated display of the more advanced technology that is employed by Frontier. Being a sci-fi fan, this in particular made the episode an excellent watch for me. Of course, it also generates a lot of hints for possible future events, such as more response by the aliens to Ranka’s voice, as well as the attack received by Sheryll’s home fleet. Now to watch the next episode…

    Argh I’m never going to accept the Ranka x Alto pairing, which at the moment doesn’t look like it’s going to happen anyway. :) Still, any chance Alto’s gonna get his hair cut before the end of the season?
