Lucky Star: Episode 9

Impressions:
I really should watch the first two episodes again to make sure that this show really is getting better, and not just me liking the show more. Although this episode wasn’t as impacting as the last, it was entertaining nonetheless. Dialogue is somewhat excessive, but it does mean Kona-chan gets more lines, and Hirano Aya has really made her character highly unique. Her way of speaking is easily identifiable, much more so than her other roles in other shows. Aya seems to make Kona-chan cuter every episode as well. Likewise, Akira-sama is becoming more moe and hilarious at the same time.
This episode’s Lucky Channel is by far my favourite, which does increase my overall enjoyment of the episode. Whether it’s Akira-sama acting extremely moe as she does her ‘innocent celebrity’ pose, or as she describes it as so, or her general verbal antics involving abusing her what’s-his-face assistant and parodying, I’m not entirely sure. It’s also refreshing how new methods are used every time to create some laughter, as opposed to, for example, reusing the notion of Akira-sama getting pissed over the first thing her assistant says (who I forgot the name of). The EDs are also nice, but I’m sure I would enjoy them a lot more if I recognise the songs…

It’s interesting how Tsukasa’s and Kagami’s parents both have hazel eyes while they themselves both have blue.
… Lets just ignore the fact that Miyuki has purple.
omg, the part when when when…. when they saw the movie and didn’t recognize konota coz of her hair really made me laugh lol, and they saw saw III!? omg O_o lol poor tsukasa?
and the part … the cake buffet, that was GREAt.. “it’s painful, kagamin, you eat it.” Lol
Lazaryn: it’s also interesting that kona-chan has blue hair, miyuki has pink and the twins have purple hair…oh wait, this is anime, nevermind xD
Furuba: ahh, those lines from the cake buffet could well be misinterpreted lol

the whole lucky channel thing is so… forced…
i’ve heard that miyuki has orange-pink hair in the yonkoma manga?
