Hayate the Combat Butler: Episode 4

Rating: 9.2/10
Impressions:
Being my favourite character, I was delighted to see that Hinaguku has been introduced already! She doesn’t appear in the manga for a while, or maybe I just can’t recall properly. Anyway though, she’s exactly how I imagined her to be (and by that, I usually mean her voice, which is pretty much what I expected to be). Her energetic older sister will sure bring some laughs to come (especially when she makes Hayate—nah, I better not) xD. I especially like her fieriness and constant will to stop Hayate. She’s the perfect type of character to harass the protagonist of this whacky anime.
I may have mentioned this before, but the constant appearances of the purple haired girl with small twin tails WILL amount to something (ie, she plays a bigger role in the future). I can’t wait to see her introduced as well. In fact, there are a lot of characters I really want to see animated. The character to be introduced next episode is not that interesting in my opinion, but the brat who has a crush on her sure is! I guess the real meat of the story will come through as well when Hayate begins to meet other ‘combat’ butlers. And just when you thought Hayate was as strong and crazy as you could get…

great, just watched ep5 and was delighted to see references to Shana and FMA, amongst others… also Hayate is too caring person for his own good…
O man, I hope they introduce that purple-haired pigtail girl soon~ Other than that, it’s great to finally see a anime make a reference to Rurouni Kenshin!~
Whoa Hinaguku already? She’s also my favorite character so this move gets a + form me haha. Although some people might not like it. Maria is my 2nd fav
When are you going to review episode 5? I hated episode 5. The way they switched things around left a giant f***ing plothole.
