Impressions:

I don’t remember seeing this in the manga, but nevertheless I love it. It’s an interesting topic to choose to make an episode out of, and this time it puts Nagi in her well-needed spotlight. It’s quite hilarious how she fails at everything, though cute as well when she makes a big deal out of everything. As always, Isumi’s outrageous getting-lost-skills are downright impressive and always crack me up. The famour Klaus paintings are comical as well. Overall, this episode is a lot more random than the last, and that’s the type of humour I love. The characters are loveable as well, so there’s really nothing wrong I can pick up.

The quality seems to be slightly higher this episode, with the faces drawn better in my opinion. If this is actually an anime original episode, it would be pretty curious as to why both anime-originals were made with higher quality. Anyway, it looks like the next episode will be an anime-original definitely, with the highly generic yet entertaining beach episode. I’m sure Hayate no Gotoku will handle it in an excellent manner, since this series is a lot more comedic and random than awkward and ‘romantic’. Romantic is in quotation marks because beach episodes are never really romantic anyway xD.
