Impressions:

Wow Hayate actually uses Moetan to study English this episode! I dunno whether it’s a parody for the upcoming show or the producers just innocently decided to use the study guide in the episode…Actually I’m surprised that I even picked such a small detail up. Along with this, there are plenty of other laughs as well—another of my favourites being the opening scenes involving Nishizawa (I had no idea what was going on until the final line xD). Oh and by the way, you may or may not know this, but it was a shock to me to discover that Hayate no Gotoku is actually 52 episodes…and I hate blogging such long series (no, I haven’t dropped D.Gray-man). >_<

The manga section of which was animated for this episode is not one of my favourites, though for some reason I do like it quite a lot in the anime. Perhaps it’s just that slapstick is usually better animated, or perhaps I didn’t take much notice of the events in the manga, so seeing it in the anime felt more refreshing than usual. But with Hayate entering Nagi’s school, it should indicate the introduction of several new characters, and I find a lot of the stories to come are highly entertaining. As usual, I really just want to see more of Hinagiku x Hayate pairing, though it’s not like anything even remotely serious will develop from anything in the 40 or so episodes to come…
