I really hated this episode, not only was the animation really poor, but i found the story to be a drag as well. The next episode gets better though (but not by much)

wow - you grade anime way too high - there's no way this episode would have passed on normal standards.

If I graded it - I would have given it a 3/10

The blindness factor was one of the main reasons why I wanted to watch this show before it aired... now it's gone, and I think everyone agrees that this show is becoming crap, I'm not quite sure if I should join the bandwagon of watching how this show will be at its worst xD

I think some of the characters are still mysterious in some ways, but the worst thing was his sudden sight and the fact nobody found this strange? Also somebody needs to slap that Yui girl or worse.

Yeah, I definitely thought the same way that they kinda ruin the good concept of having the main protogonist to be blind because all of sudden Hirose just earn the vision to see (It's too early IMO. That's just lame). The artwork was kinda horrible too. Well, I'll stick watching this series because I just feel like watching love-romance/drama anime as much as I can during winter season. If in case this series turns out to be suck then I still have Clannad, Kimikiss, and True Tears to watch =)

BTW, Danny, the sub episode 2 for True Tears just came out in BakaWolf download website.

As bad as it was, I still found myself interested. The characters seem to have some meaningful history, though a lot of the girls seem like cardboard stand-ins. Maybe in the coming eps they will show a little more of each one, kind of like they did with Hinata this episode. *shrugs*
