Well that was a lot more entertaining than I thought. I wasn’t really going to try it, but having nothing much else to watch I decided to get it anyway. And because of this, I’m probably going to try every new anime that airs. Anyway, I probably won’t be blogging this, as it’s not something I especially like, nor is an easy show to write about. It reminds me somehow of Dragon Ball, possibly due to the little kid that mucks around with his mecha head. Speaking of mecha, that’s one of the things I don’t really like, but I guess it should be an important plot element that will drive the story.
The characters seem interesting enough, and the addition of a playful, gun-toting hot chick is a nice touch to the cast. I really have no idea what happens in this episode, except that it’s about a group of underground villagers wanting to reach above ground. They manage to do so by the end of the episode, but not without some large mecha battles. An attractive thing about this anime is that the notion of people reaching above ground in the way it is portrayed seems very large-scale somehow. It gives the ‘epic’ vibe you feel in a lot of Gundam shows. In terms of watching, I will definitely need to go for subs on this one.

This was so awesome that I can’t help but watch it. Should have my entry out before the week is out.
I just watched the subs for this and I must say that I really enjoyed this first episode. I wasn’t a bit bored watching it at all. The comedy is great, Kamina is cool, and Yoko is hot. I can’t wait to see the next episode.

Well, watched and impressive as it seems, it doesn’t fit me, perhaps due to fact I am not so keen on mecha. Yoko is hawt, but I’d prefer Black Lagoon’s Revy anyday. And there are better comedy shows this season, Hayate Combat Butler is one I’m sure to watch.

i saw the whole show.i wont reveal any spoilers but i will say tht it gets incredible better when it reaches episode 9 as simon expierences something he never has before. then after tht something very interesting happens when it reaches halfway through the series
