Impressions:

A very Allelujah-centric episode, which touches on his backstory which the show will surely cover soon enough. I doubt we’ll get to see too deeply into his past until later on when the plot develops further, and a need arises to reveal any details regarding this Gundam Meister. For now, we see that he seems to have a connection with Ensign, and during his “headache”, his fringe changes direction, while the colour of his eyes changes as well. He also appears to talk to himself, which gives rise to the possibility that he has multiple personalities, or something of the like. I doubt it, but perhaps he’s a design baby or sorts as well?

Saji and Louise get spotlights as well in this episode, though their importance to the plot is still relatively unknown. They (or Saji at least) has a distinct connection with Setsuna, which could very well develop into something larger. I seriously hope he doesn’t become a Suzaku-like character to oppose Setsuna’s “Lelouch” position. But disregarding that, I’m interested to know why Saji’s and Louise’s relationship is so important, seeing as how it is a main focus of the episode. Will their roles become major ones, or will they simply look on from the side as supporting characters?
