Impressions:
That was truly amazing…In the end, I think it’s obvious that Renji had the far deeper story. I wonder if this really concludes everything for him and Chihiro. It serves well for a shock, counter-ending to Hiro’s happy ending, but I can’t help but want to see Renji and Chihiro after this conclusion, to observe their mindsets and composition. Would it be likely that the two simply return to their original lives? Well, I was actually expecting Chihiro to jump off the roof after ripping her diary, but in ways, her continued existence makes everything so much sadder. Next episode, the finale, I wonder what it will entail. Will it be about Kei, even though she’s technically part of Hiro’s story?

yeah..this episode really threw me off. I wsnt expecting that…made me cry T_T

Wow, Danny. You updated stuff pretty quick. Yeah, like everyone, this episode really threw me off. A lot of people said that this is the end of Renji x Chihiro’s story, but I’m still not sure about that. What do you think? I hope that they gonna do Kei’s story along with finishing up Chihiro’s story, but I don’t think they have enough time for that.
WOW. amazing end to the Renji&Chihiro’s arc. I hope the next episode will also feature them, becuase I’m so hoping for a happy ending for them. this show have kept exceeding my expectations every single week. it’s the best show of the season if not of the whole year. the art(and everything else) is just so good that I want to see more of it
I saw the ep just last night. It was really good, i was like realy really amazed. lol. like i was blown away by this ep. so deep and meaningful and i duno words how to describe it = =”

Scoro: yeah, but we have to think of the pacing issues if it were longer. I mean, who thought ef was really good until the later few episodes?
kenshin514: well, my mind was actually completely set on a bad ending for chihiro and renji, but now i don’t know. they don’t really need to conclude things for either renji or hiro, as it would add to the mysteriousness of the show, but otherwise, i have no idea what they;re going to do. I dont think kei is important enough to warrant an episode to herself…
arcanes: personally, I’m putting this show as my all-time 5th favourite show. for me, it;s the best show this year =)
Furuba: yeah me too, ‘deep’ ‘meaningful’ are what i can only come up with too xD ah, the church guy, it seems everyone has met the spirit except him–perhaps a past lover or something? well, that could well be some material for the last episosde
