D.Gray-man: Episode 51

Rating: 7.2/10

Impressions:

Now we’re back on track, though the manga material is being stretched out with some minor filler material, which is perfectly fine. Finally, Allen and crew are GETTING ON THE BOAT. Yes, the ship is very important—this is supposed to happen the last time Allen boarded a ship (which made me go crazy as it effectively meant they were diverging from the manga completely). Now, I wonder how many episodes will be manga-material before fillers start taking over again. There are some characters I really wanna see, who appear later in the manga (only a few volumes ahead, but so far D.Gray-man has only covered something like 5 volumes in 50 episodes).

there is no place where there can be fillers again, you know that. which is why they had so many in the first place in the beggining. Which means(since the arc just ended in the manga) they will most likley be going very far this time.

Inuhanyou: D.gray-man has shown it can alter manga material, so you never know. But yeah, the new OP and ED suggest it will be going pretty deep

Furuba: mmhmm, already seen it. Thanks for the heads up

No, the anime needs more filler cause the manga lacks character development and *sigh* Kanda!!!

^ n00b statement, kanda(sasuclone)sucks. THe character development is fine as it was in the manga IMO, too many episodes of “static characters” is no way for a series to be in its early stages. Fillers fault.

I can’t seem to find this episode. All the places have taken it down or it’s not working. Same with most over 51. It’s a pitty. I like the series. THe only thing i want to see is that allen gets stronger to explain why he had trouble killing lvl 2’s in the begining and easily killed hundreds later on, or why the lvl 2’s are getting weaker and a lot more common than the lvl 1’s now.
