D.Gray-man: Episode 33

Impressions:
Exhibiting higher quality and a decent story, this episode is quite superior to the last. Kanda’s pretty awesome with his sword, while the newbie Finder makes for a few laughs. It’s always nice for fillers to have a continuous story if they last more than a few episodes. Fillers that feature a story in one episode are nice every once in a while as long as the quality is good, but if you take 10 episodes like that and slot them in between major arcs or something, then you get a problem. It’s even better if the arcs actually lead into and tie in together nicely with other arcs. Well, at least this arc achieves some of that.
