D.Gray-man: Episode 29

Impressions:

I’m beginning to think that these fillers might have actually replaced the manga now…ah but that’s highly unlikely since the anime is still very far from the most recent manga chapters. Unless these episodes were made a long way back, enough of the manga should have been out for a decent continuation into this second half of the series. I really want to see the story progress, and get to stage depicted in the OP. Speaking of which, I still haven’t gotten sick of watching the OP every time I watch D.Gray-man. I just love the song, and the animation and graphical quality is way higher than any of the actual episodes. Linali looks cool in it too. ;-)

Edit: Apparently these aren’t really fillers (based on a novel?) but doesn’t change the fact they aren’t from the manga…

    O_o d.gray man novel? k….. Anyway, at the end of episode 32 allen says something about that being the end of the fillers (or half-fillers or w/e). So I’m waiting for 33 even more now :)

    that sounds promising, but im pretty sure there will be a turning point somewhere where the anime completely branches off from the manga…
