D.Gray-man: Episode 21

Rating: 9.1/10

Impressions:

This episode covers chapters 34-36 of the manga, and surprisingly, there are still a few episodes to go until the end of this arc. It seems there will be six episodes to this arc, and this is the best one so far. The first arc, Lala’s, is nice and touching, though it has little to do with anything to come, and only manages to introduce and slightly develop the first two characters: Allen and Kanda. The next arc, featuring Miranda, is slightly annoying due to her constant frustration. However, it does matter to the show as Miranda will end up as an exorcist. The next few arcs are fillers, and for one thing they were too short. But now, this arc begins to show the potential of the show to come.

I must really watch this show now. First time I watched D.Gray-Man was when I watched The Ghost of Mateel arc and felt that this was completely JASA(Just Another Shounen Anime). Then I got to reading the manga and got interested from the Miranda arc with the appearance of Road Camelot from the Noah family. Later I switched back to the anime but….fillers D=
Seems that it’s getting quite interesting again!!! *goes over to Scarywater.net*
