Impressions:

Somehow I feel really excited about D.Gray-man now that the fillers are over. From this episode, I believe D.Gray-man has gotten to a level of ‘good’ higher than any previous arc, whether it was filler or not. I do have a few episodes to catch up on, but if you’re wondering, no I will not blog two episodes at once. I only do that for the shorter anime that I don’t really like that much. Previously, D.Gray-man was never really great, but I think it’s definitely changed now. Like I’ve said a million times before, this show gets better. However, the problem is, the anime might not follow the manga for the whole way, as the manga hasn’t finished yet.

I really have no idea how long this arc will be, because my manga collection is ‘experiencing problems’ at the moment and I can’t check. However, it doesn’t matter at all at this stage. I’m looking forward to when this arc ends and the anime gets into the main storyline though. When I think about it, a lot of things happen in the 100+ chapters of manga so far, though that is only enough for probably 40 episodes, depending on how many chapters an episode covers. I don’t know anything at the moment, but I’m hoping for a new OP soon (perhaps at 26 episodes, which is half of the total?)
