Death Note: Episode 31

Unfortunately, I have to say that Death Note is now no where near as interesting as when it first started, due to the simplifying of characters and events. It is no doubt that things are being rushed, and with that known, the studio behind everything is actually doing a good job. However, I don’t know why the pacing was so off when Death Note was animated. Was it some abrupt budget cut, deadline notice or something? It feels very unnatural, and for me the show will probably only go downhill, since as you probably all know, I hate the ending. I didn’t like the depiction of my favourite character in the end, as well as the ‘winner’ of everything.
Anyways, it seems like Near is pretty cunning as well, thwarting an unsuspecting Light who may have lost his touch (actually nah, Light probably was just underestimating Near). It would have been pretty ingenious if the notes had been fake, pre-made due to Near foreseeing such a move by Light, but we never do find out. Demegawa’s death was well called for; his personality was just too much to handle. The new character, Mikami Teru, is severely underdeveloped in the manga, and would have otherwise been a highly interesting character. His note-writing is pretty violent, which ironically is how killing usually is.

I agree. The ending SUCKED. The one who lost was totaly ruined…
God, don’t tell me who lost I haven’t even read the manga yet. But due to the anime I most likely won’t anyways. Same with Bleach if I can save money by watching the anime then I will and not even read the manga. But of course the anime and manga have differences. With both of them. But anyways they might be hurring due to the Devil May Cry project sence Death Note people have some to due with the DMC production. I’m sure but I forgot what they do exactlly. Speaking of that DMC comes out in 15 days. You can count on me watching that the first day it’s on you tube.
I absolutely loved the show. Absolutely ****ing hated the ****ing ending.
yes, the show used to be highly intelligent. Two over intelligent individuals clashed. Both fighting for the same goals, both willing to pass judgement upon criminals but yet opposing eachother, I loved it. However after episode 28 or so, the series just started to suck ass. And well, the newely introduced “near” and also, of course the ending both sucked so bad it almost ruined it all IMO.
Death Note is the greatest! (Misa’s so hot…i mean look at her in that pic :P)
