Impressions:

Wow, that was an excellently executed episode. The firm pacing and constant surprises are perfect for such an explanatory episode. I guess everyone should have seen episode 25 already, where L dies, but I’ll get into that next entry. Anyway, pretending I don’t know what happens next, I must say L has never had a chance from when he imprisoned Light. Sure, Light might not have caught Higuchi, but L had no reasonable chance of proving that Light was the first Kira (and Misa the second). And now, his demise is inevitable. I like Light far more than L, so I have to say the outcome of this arc is very pleasing. I can’t say the same for the last arc though.

lols, 25 has already aired, so u cant blame him too much. id probably assume the same thing (as I would if writing a review of a finished series, i would not hesitate to include how it ends).

Yeah episode 25 is amazing i wonder what will happen next!! but i dont think L dies i think its his trick!! cause in the begining he tells Light that he is sorry… and im sure he was up to something with that foot massage! I love Rem

I just did a Marathon on Youtube from ep 11 to ep 24.

I am enjoying it immensely, though it did slow down a lot when Light and Misa lost their powers.

L was my favorite character. I was sad when he died. I loved it when L washed Yagami’s feet. Its kind of a play how Yagami light is the “God of a new world.”

L, light, light’s father dies. After Light kills Leliot(L)or something like that there 2 more children that will be able to surpass Light but only 1 does and his name is nate rivers and the other persons name is mello but he doesn’t surpass Light Nate does

Man, L was my favorite character… I wish he didn’t die. I mean, Light’s cool and all, but you know. I like Near! He’s so cute and little. (He kind of reminds me of the little Hatsuharu, if any of you have seen Fruits Basket.) But he can never replace L for me, or any of L’s crazed fan girls.

Now that L’s dead, I don’t feel like watching the anime anymore. I cried, literally cried. I knew he was probably going to die, but… that’s bullcrap! Death Note isn’t Death Note without Eru. Seriously, to say I’m peeved would be an understatement.

I’m done with Death Note. You ruined it for me.

erm..yeah i finished watching the whole anime, but i still don’t understand episode 25. What was L so sad about? was it because he knew he was going to die, or was it something else?
and i kinda lost interest after he died…i watched the episodes, but i didn’t pay attention much, so i didn’t really understand what was going on…
until episode 36…and 37. that was good. very good.
