Darker than BLACK: Episode 3

Impressions:
I find this episode much more interesting than the last, mostly because it introduces a high school girl this time. It looks like all the stories will be in instalments of two episodes, so the story of the high school girl should end next episode. As a standard, the seemingly disjointed episodes should eventually clue in and lead up to something much bigger, or just play the role of introducing and developing important characters. With his sly personality, Li is very intriguing to watch. I hope to see more of the other characters as well, and as I said last post, hopefully we’ll get a vast array of different contractors.
At this point in the series, the way everything connects with each other will be very vague, and viewers will be left to enjoy and try to analyse the smaller parts of the overall picture. For example, in this episode, viewers will wonder about the connection between Mai and the flower. Also, her using her powers unconsciously is also a nice little mystery. Of course, these should be answered soon, but what I’m saying is hopefully the puzzles intertwined with each other will greaten gradually, so that the linkage of all the enigmas will become vastly excitement near the climax of the anime. But whatever, I’m just gonna enjoy the series as it is for now. xD

well, i’ll say that the flower, girl and her unconscious powers are definitely linked, as ep4 will demonstrate… but in a very different way than i’ve thought after ep3
to FlameStrike: What’s so strange about Hei being called onii-chan? Isn’t that the normal way to address someone older than you but still considered young? It would be rude to call him “Uncle” or “Old man” and it would be inappropriate to call him by his actual name (which would imply a close relationship).
