Well, i like the fact that they made a sidetrip to show a lil bit from hei’s development, being independent somehow.

I think the purpose of this arc is to point out the change in Hei, according to Yin. It is probably trying to show how Hei begins to do something by his own will, other than the organization’s orders. Thinking back to previous episodes, Huang had said something like contractors do not have their own emotions or wills; they only need to follow orders. In this case, Hei’s actions become significant.

I agree with you that this episode seemed kind of pointless this late in the show but you need to watch the preview again because im pretty sure i saw one of the members of evening primrose in it. The guy with the one eye im not sure what his name is
