Darker than BLACK: Episode 15

Impressions:
Oh wow…although I can’t say this episode is as good as the last, I’m tempted to do so purely because Amber appears, and just by seeing her makes me love her character. Not only is she an awesome C.C. look-alike, but she actually has a personality that I like. I never thought about this until now, but I also really want to learn more about her background (since apparently she has quite a lot to do with Hei and Bai). I can’t wait to see more of her, and I sure as hell hope she doesn’t die. If she does I’ll cry. Really. And is it just me or does the present Amber look and sound younger than the Amber in Hei’s past?
Actually I have more to say about Amber. xD Firstly, I have to say I’m surprised about the role she apparently plays in the past of both Hei’s organisation and MI6. Working as a double agent (Febuary/Amber) and betraying both? It also seems like she may have something to do with Bai, and that again is probably why Hei is desperate to find her (and kill her? Nooo!) November probably doesn’t die so that Hei can have some kind of third party rival against him in his search for Amber. Whatever the case, apparently things will conclude mostly next episode. I wonder if we’ll find out what Amber really is…is she a contractor? And if so, does she have emotions like Hei?
Miscellaneous comments: Pizza Hut really is taking over, and I think I see more of that in Darker than BLACK now than in Code Geass. Also, I don’t like the new OP much (it sounds like a Gundam Song slapped together with some Initial D animation, which really doesn’t suit DtB). It does bring about questions as to why there are multiple Heis in the animation, and his unmasking is pretty interesting as well. The ED is kinda hard for me to comment on, since I like it just as much as the first. However, the feels of both are completely different. And who’s the girl with Hei in the ED? Is that Bai?

Its true. She does look and sound a lot younger in the present. I believe its the pirce she needs to pay for her contract. She basically gets younger as she uses her power hence the inevitable is probably going to happen lol.

As Jaalin says on Random Curiosity, if she keeps using her powers like that, we might have a loli on our hands =P, but I’m certainly not gonna complain about.

Yup, I’m giving it a 9.5. And I’m in love with Amber as well as the relationship between her and Hei. Even initially though, i had this thought that she would die by Hei’s hands in the end, or some other tragedy. But now that I’ve found out how she apparently gets younger with every use of her powers…I’m just plained depressed ;_;
