Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion R2: Episode 7

Rating: 8/10
Impressions:
With this entire episode devoted to Lelouch seeing through the shortcomings of his own plans as Zero, I would say it’s a welcome change to the usual action and thrill, littered with plot twists. While Lelouch’s character doesn’t really require much development anymore, this episode goes to show that he is indeed very human, and reminds us all of the reasons behind his plight—that is, Nunally. It’s no surprise that he has agreed to her offer to create the Special Administration Region of Japan, but we all have to think, will any good come from this? There’s still about two thirds of the series to go…
I daresay that Lelouch will probably end up blowing everything up (both metaphorically and literally), so I don’t have high hopes for this going too well. Ultimately, it will probably come down to Lelouch and his father, though for now, there are still far too many obstacles in the way; Nunally being one of them. Then there are the Knight of Rounds, namely Suzaku, as well as other possible Geass holders, way in the backdrop. I would really like to see C.C. play a larger role as one of Zero’s assets, as for now, his position doesn’t seem too firm. Of course, any further relationship development between C.C. and Lelouch would be more than welcomed.

i agree with the c.c and lelouch part i need to see more of c.c anyway i hope that there will be more fighting to come but being the way the father was going on about the strong survive and he weak fall and that is the real truth, he has no nothing in mind for peace whatsoever
Zero demands change! Zero has a blog..
i just thought… if C.C., as well as Jeremiah(as seen in the op) are still alive… then how high are the chances that the Gawain might be coming back?
i mean, if you C.C. AND Jeremiah, who sank together with the Gawain and the Siegfried, are still alive, not crushed by the high pressure of the ocean’s depths, then the Gawain might actually still be intact.
I bet Rakshata’s been ignoring the problem of having no KnightMares and is rather doing what she considers fun… research and testing. So far this has involved the Flying Guren, hopefully she did some more work in developing new suits =(
forget what i said in my last post.
it seems there was an interview sometime where it was stated
that both the gawain and C.C. were crushed in the deep.
C.C., being immortal, managed to get to the surface and regenerate.
still, i wonder what happened to Jeremiah…
