Code Geass – Lelouch of the Rebellion: Episode 7

Rating: 8.8/10 (quality drop)

Impressions:

After that refreshing filler that was episode 7, Code Geass returns with some more intensive action and tasty plotting. Only this time, Lelouch gets his ass whooped, saved by none other than C.C., who has become my favourite girl of the series. She is incredibly unpredictable, with her pizza fetish, lazy attitude, yet secretive motive, which is pretty strange for aspects of one person. The way she saved Lelouch also demonstrates how anyone can become Zero. The special mask has become an icon of heresy against the Britannians, and it is clearly shown how unfair their leaders are. It’s hard to believe that Lelouch’s father had felt such little remorse for him and Nanaly, though his actions does help enforce the idea that he’s an evil tyrant. Lelouch has gained more respect from me now, even though I new he wasn’t actually malevolent. Anyway, it would be awesome if C.C. and Lelouch worked together more, since a relationship developing between them is close to zero percent. There’s more of a chance that they deceive each other and try to kill each other near the end, though that would be flashy too. Frankly, I don’t care what happens to the other girls now, but they should definitely be getting more screen time – especially Karen.

Imagination wandering…

Shirley can go with Suzaku and end up getting involved with the war, finding out about Lelouch, realizing Lelouch is her true love, siding with him and end up getting killed. Millay should refuse her arranged marriage and become a rebel, and when her refusal is ignored, kills her fiancée, becomes a fugitive and gets caught up with the war, hindering Lelouch’s not-so-devilish-anymore plan, make out with him, ending up as a puppet of Lelouch, before getting herself killed as well. Karen should fall in love with Lelouch, then with Zero, become agitated with her conflicting emotions, catches Lelouch in the act of commanding his army as Zero, realise what a maniac he is, rebel against him, accidentally killing all her own comrades when fighting Lelouch, kills Shirley once she’s sided with Lelouch then commit suicide at the horrible deeds she’s done. Yuffie will then see the chaos that has come about from Cornelia, kill her, gets arrested and saved by Suzaku, but when Millay, who is under Lelouch’s control, is ordered to assassinate Yuffie, Suzaku takes action and kills Millay. However, Yuffie dies anyway from friendly fire right after everything appears to be safe. Suzaku then goes insane, starts fighting Lelouch and ends up getting obliterated by Lelouch and his master plan, which he will have developed by that time. What’s left is Nanaly, who has been up to nothing the whole time, gets her sight back and falls into deep tragedy when she realises she’s in love with Lelouch. C.C. will seduce Lelouch and continue to make him work for her, but then try to kill him when he’s outlived his usefulness. Nanaly will kill C.C., get rejected by Lelouch and commit suicide. Lelouch, seeing his sister die, become insane and destroys the whole of Britannia with some advanced weapon, wiping out himself and everyone else that’s left. Then C.C. will mysteriously reappear.

CC Conquers all? That second paragraph reminded me of Battel Royale for some reason ^^

    That’s a really…complicated imagination wandering there.

Mines more simple. CC gives Lulu some more power-ups (give him a Death Note or something.) Lulu owns the hell out of that wuss Suzaku…and the anti-hero wins. Sorry, I can’t stand goody goody guys.

And Karen might just qualify to be on the psycho-is-moe list.
