Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion: Episode 21

Impressions:
I think this is my favourite episode of Code Geass, and it turns out to be a relational development episode with some plot advancement, instead of one filled and wrapped with action. It was really fun watching everyone run into each other and start panicking, though unfortunately no one discovered the identity of anyone else, which was a shame. Eupphie did get in touch with Nanaly though, and that would have been nice if Eupphie didn’t end up proposing such a stupid plan at the end…Well, it’s stupid due to my personal feelings, as I really liked the idea of Suzaku, Eupphie and the Order joining forces to wipe out Britannia…though that will most likely never happen.
This episode is really quite amusing. C.C’s reaction when the giant pizza gets ruined is priceless. And surprisingly though, with all the talk of pizza, I can’t remember seeing Pizza Hut anywhere. Nina’s reaction to Eupphie’s announcement is disturbing, as I’m not sure whether she displays such terror due to her fear for Elevens, or her fear of Eupphie converting to the ‘dark side’ xD. The ‘Hit the Mole Human Head game is hilarious, and especially since Cecile seems to only hit a certain head in the middle! Once again, it’s really entertaining seeing Karen, Suzaku, Lelouch etc bumping into each other at school so often…
It’s a shame that Lelouch considers the existence of Eupphie to be a serious threat to his entire conspiracy, once again due to the fact that I like their pairing (from a tactical point of view, combined with sibling-sympathy). But this does present us with a new and interesting plot turn. The next episode is called Bloodstained Eupphie, so I’m interested to see what that refers to. I hope she doesn’t die, and I’m actually expecting/hoping the title refers to Eupphie murdering someone. Now THAT would be entertaining. Maybe it could even be one of her siblings (excluding Lelouch and Nanaly – I hope).

Waah, that ending ruined everything! Now what is Lelouch going to do? The Order’s gone for sure, ne? Does Euphie think she can be with Lelouch and Nunnally now?! I wonder if she knew the hidden tact in her peaceful little plan, which was why Clovis agreed to it. Though Cornelia doesn’t seem very pleased xP
what if….Euphemmia is not as naive as we think and is actually plotting something devious with this facade!? xD

And what was with that whole thing with that maid (what’s her name again? xD) and what’s his face? She wants to meet Zero?!
lmao poor CC made me laugh when she looked so shocked that Suzuaku owned the pizza dough xD. Sorry C.C you got OWNED. lmao good ep though, kinda is stupid that Eupha-Chan took that risk, now Leouch is going to own her (sadly since they are like brother and sister).
I thought this was just going to be some pointless filler episode but it really did a lot to advance the storyline. This is probably my favorite episode of the season because of all the funny moments, especially C.C. being so obsessed over the pizza only to see it get owned.
Other favorite parts:
- Kallen having to work in the haunted house and her gripes about how she only takes orders from Zero
- Cecile playing that human wack-a-mole game and hitting the same person only because he looked like Lloyd
- And that random student in the beginning cosplaying as the Lancelot

I thought I’d correct you on the fact that Clovis, as far as we know, is dead. The one who agreed to Euphie’s idiotic plan was 2nd Prince Schnizel. Which I think is part of some ultimate plan on his part.
This guy is much smarter than any of Lelouch’s half-siblings thus far. Lelouch actually considers him a threat. So he has to have some alterior motive for telling Euphie it was okay.
