Oh my god I have never hated Shirley or Suzaku more in my life. Seriously they both should just fucking get killed by some random piece of shrapnel. Suzaku is the most annoying bastard I’ve seen in an anime. And now Shirley too. She just HAD to be standing right there in front of Lelouch, which totally screwed him up! And I don’t even believe he would get so agitated at the death of Shirley’s dad. C.C. is completely right in saying he’s weak! He is far from resolute, now it’s landed him in the worst possible position. I hate it when the most stupid people cause his downfall; it’s just not right. It’s like a master tactician plotting out a brilliant plan that wins the war, only to be killed by some drunk, homeless bum with a knife. Man this is how I felt when that bitch Yoshida from Shana started getting all ‘I will be brave and fight b your side, Yuuji” or some crap like that. A perfect example of when someone who knows nothing gets involved and suddenly ruins everything. Though I must admit, Yoshida is pretty cute in the manga…hehe.
Anyway, I’m not necessarily Suzaku or Shirley are stupid; they’re not. I can’t really say anything about Shirley since she’s too normal, but Suzaku has no common sense whatsoever in the area that he believes him. He doesn’t like killing and thinks it’s wrong for whatever purpose, yet he joins the army? Why does he fight Zero if he doesn’t like killing? It’s obvious that in this case, to stop Zero killing you have to do a bunch of killing yourself. And it’s also pretty obvious that the Britannians are a bunch of oppressive bastards who kill with no remorse, yet he supports them so much. Actually, I still don’t get why he joined the Britannians anyway. What did he hope to achieve anyway? Although there ma not be right and wrong here, the Britannians certainly caused a lot of death and destruction, and are outrageously racist and full of shit. Ok I think this rant of mine is getting out of hand now, so I think I’ll stop now. Question now is of course, what will happen to Lelouch? He better not start feeling bad when he finds out Suzaku’s the one piloting the ‘annoying white armour’…

And I’ve been waiting for the whole Lelouch/Suzaku thing to turn Kira/Athrun n__n. It’s so frustrating that Suzaku can act all high-and-mighty, though. And then Shirley, arg. I hope things end up well for Lelouch.
eh, the new OP fails badly, like acegunner says. And yeah, this new OP and the 4th OP of blood+ were sung by the same person. the ED is actually quite good IMO, better than the first ED.
ED is sung by SunSet Swish who also performed the 6th ED of Bleach, and since I loved that one, this one couldn’t be bad, and after listening it again I wasn’t disappointed and it’s much better than the first ED IMO

I think it’ll be time for Shirley to join her daddy. I think the preview says it all,no? It’s just a picture of Shirley and Lulu. Plus the preview monologue was saying something about emotions/feelings blah, blah, blah. I think in the end Lulu’s gonna have to put his feelings aside and pull the trigger (on Shirley). At least I hope so, cause I was also pissed that Shirley would just randomly be right where Lelouche was about to FINALLY kill Cornelia. And Suzaku needs his head examined. His superiors address him as “bastard” and treat him like shit, he sees that they disobey the rules of war (ie when the JLF surrendered they should cease fire, but they just went ahead and killed them all). Anyway, I hope Suzaku will change for the better, who knows, wishful thinking.
alot still kinda hazy tbh. the roles on some char are still yet to known and their potentials to enhance the show is pretty much unknown too. who knows shirley, viletta and even jerimiah “orange-kun” might play major role later on to assist lelouch after they found/notknown that lelouch is britannia prince.
we’re still at mid path and what’s on from this eps on is the one interest me more, what happen next when zero identity known by shirley and how karen able to protect zero after zero failed to pull the shot on cornelia.

I think SOME of you are looking at the wrong show, this is not GUN X SWORD.
Lulu just wants revenge on his father no matter the cost (if you think he is some kind of “ally of justice” you are so wrong), this Shirley part is a reminder of what that path implies.
Lulu did not cared about who lived or died with a few exceptions.
In short something like this was expected (it was either Shirley or Nanari) and serves to push Lulu into seeing what his actions imply.
I doubt he will stop but he likely he going to stop looking at people as pieces in a chessboard …
I might be wrong but I think Shirley is going to remain in the show … killing her really does not push anything (its not as if Lulu did not have a reason to continue to do what he is doing) and keeping her alive does give Lulu the option to return to a normal life.
I think Shirley is going to die as well, her death would force Lelouch to make his final decision, whether to cast himself into carnage and never look back, or whether to quit now. The way I look at it, Shirley living would prevent him from going back to a normal life because of the guilt he feels for being responsible for her father’s death. Oh, and new OP does indeed phail.
Now that Shirley knows, It’s just going to go down the road of sap. Though I do hope an anvil lands on her head or least a pizza hut mech. Lulu needs to grow some balls and some horns. The new OP blew. I hope Guilty changes it, though I’m doubtful of that. The ED good. I think they shouldn’t have changed the original OP and ED though.
Quite a bit of discussion on Shirley here: I personally don’t think she will die, at least not next episode, as Sunrise tends to keep most of their characters, and Shirley is important enough to not die this early in the series. Lelouch could easily use his Geass on Shirely, could he not? I’m thinking that perhaps he will need to pull the trigger on Viletta actually, since he’s already used his powers on her.
Sure she will not die so soon… In best Sunrise traditions she must be accidentally killed by Suzaku in the last quoter of series.
