CLANNAD: Episode 19

Impressions:
With the tear jerking end of episode 18, it seems that Clannad has finally moved into its final arc—Nagisa. And because of this, I think it’s safe to say that the mysterious girl with the robot is Nagisa (while I’m guessing that the robot has some strong relation to the current Tomoya). I tend to always like particular characters more during their specific arc, as more attention is usually placed on them, and in every arc, the starring girl will always undergo some kind of change, which thankfully are changes that I usually like. In other words, Nagisa finally does seem like a suitable match for Tomoya now, but only because it’s her arc. =]
In other news, something strange is happening with the episode count, as apparently, the 23rd episode will be a summer vacation or something. I have no idea if that will be a special screening or an OAV of sorts, and I have equally no clue as to whether the last episode will be normal or not. In any case though, there’s certainly not many episodes left, and I have to wonder yet again what has been achieved with the last 18 episodes, and shows like these always come towards a conclusion without much notable, physical movement. It’s not like it’s a bad thing though (IMO at least). I’m hoping that Tomoya and Nagisa actually get together romantically. And I don’t consider Kanon as having such an ending, definitely.

Apperantly it will go on untill episode 22, where as episode 23-24 will be OVAs.
That beeing said there will most likely be a second season(short 12?) or a movie to follow for the After story.
Unless they skip that.. but that would be insane to do o.O
Well I’ve always been a fan of Nagisa x Tomoya personally I think they match each other very well, and this ep has some nice character development for her. It’s fun to see how far she’s come compared to ep 1. Tomoya x Kyou is just MEH, especially in Kyou’s route where I thought it came out of no where since Kyou is absent 50% of her own friggen route and bosses him around so much. However Tomoyo x Tomoya is a close second and feels more natural.
I understand what you mean by likeing a character more when it’s their arc though. However Tomoyo will always be my overall favorite followed by Nagisa.
Well, I did actually liked this change of air of Nagisa, she is getting more strong now that she has achieved resurrecting the acting club.
I’m willing to see the cruel back story Nagisa’s family has!!!!!! And how it will be ending the whole thing!!!
I hope the rest of the anime can surpass episode 18, till far, that has been my overall favorite episode.
As for my fav girl, I’d stick with Tomoyo, I loved to see her pawn Sunohara, and that “Aim for his face” tip Tomoya gave her on chapter, man, I can’t stop LOLing each time I see it!!!!!
Then comes Nagisa, Kyou, Ryou, and i did liked Fuko on her arc, but recently she is been pretty anoying, appearing everyone. JUST STAY THE F*** DEATH!!!!!!
Tbh the Anime needed more Yukine, her story is just far to funny xD
Needs more Kyou.
