I seriously can’t stop laughing. Apparently, there’s going to be a new Evangelion series—an OAV spinoff, and from looking at the picture, I’m sure everyone’s can guess what it’s going to be like. (From ANN) There will three episodes to “Petit Eva ~Evangelion@School~”, and I seriously can’t wait to see this. I guess it’s going to be set in a school, and of course it’s not going to be serious. I love the idea of there being three different Rei’s—one of them being the Rei you see in Shinji’s perfect, third-impacted world in episode 26. Asuka will probably be similar to the episode 26 version as well. Anyway, Darkshaunz has a nice post on it, go and read it. Now. Or the official site.

This is the trailer for the first of four Evangelion movies, called Rebuild of Evangelion, scheduled to begin airing in September. I’m pretty excited seeing the characters in this trailer. I watched NGE around one and a half years ago and loved it to death (I still do). The first movies is supposed to cover around a quarter of the series, so I guess Asuka won’t be in it. Anyway, we can see in the trailer that a few original scenes have been remade to look almost exactly alike, but better I guess. The characters’ faces seem to be more detailed as well, with a cool looking Shinji too! A lot of things were animated in 3D as well, which I believe is a good thing.
