Single: SHnY 7th Char. Album – Kimidori Emiri The 7th Character Album of the popular Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu series has been released recently, along with the 6th (which features the cute Imouto-chan). Of these two albums, my favourite song is this one, Fixed Mind, sung by Shiratori Yuri. Actually no, it is now my favourite song of ALL the character albums. Better than Cool Edition (Asakura Ryouko), and better than Seishunii Janai Katsu (Tsuruya-san). And wow, Emily is meant to be a very minor character, but is enough to tribute an album to her (or single, as it’s only 2 songs). |

I didn’t even know what it was called since my computer can’t display Japanese in the filename. I didn’t bother opening up the properties to see the Japanese until way later so yeah. Anime: Elfen Lied ED The ending theme of the famous Elfen Lied (a pretty f**ked up show if you ask me) but nonetheless a good song by Chieko Kawabe. I’m also pretty sure this is the only song of her’s I’ve heard of. Anyway, I’ll be doing a post soon with all the past ‘Now Playing’ songs up for dowloading, if you haven’t figured out how to do it yet. Most them have expired anyway, but they should return in a few days. Oh yeah, I did say I was going to upload some more Tsuyokiss songs didn’t I? I’ll do that too… |

Merry Go Round Artist: YUI You all should know YUI from one source or another. I learnt of her fame through her works in Bleach music, then started listening to some of her other songs. She’s become one of my favourite singers now, and the song I’m really waiting for is Rolling Star, which hasn’t been given a set release date yet (or has it…?) Artist: Yui Sakakibara Yui Sakakibara, who has released 4 singles and 2 albums, and just started in the anime voice-acting industry with her two roles this season: Haruhi from ‘Happiness!’ and Mizuho’s homeroom teacher in ‘Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru’. I have to admit I don’t usually listen to her songs but I didn’t have good song ready so I just chose to upload this one. In other news about Rebuild of Evangelion, Anime News Service has posted something new… 10-19-06 (9:29AM EDT)—- World Exclusive: Rebuild Of Evangelion Updates Tonight we met up with Evangelion Producer Toshimichi Ootsuki in Akihabara. According to Ootsuki-san the “contents” for the “1st part” of the new Rebuild Of Evangelion movies is now complete. The animation staff is also very close to being fully assembled. Building on past hints (the cover image of the October, 2006 issue of Newtype Magazine) Kaworu Nagisa and Rei Ayanami will be central characters in this new story. The theme of the “first part” movie will feature the characters in a school setting prior to the arrival of the angels. |
