Okay, so after I got a comment asking how to download the songs on the music player, the thing is, you can’t. Well, for those who are willing enough, you can always get something like Audacity, ramp up the volume and record the music as it is playing, but for now, you just can’t download them. Seriously? This is the end? I could’ve sworn both AniDB and ANN said Tsuyokiss was 13 episodes… Well, this has happened before, where there’s another extra episode after the end, which sort of acts like an aftermath of the main events and usually feels more like an episode in the middle of the series rather than the last. Well, if this is the end, it was quite fitting. I wished the final scenes between Leo and Sunao were a bit more romantic, but the way those final moments were presented does fit in with the overall theme of the show. The quality was above average, but not as good as some of the other episodes. Although it started off rocky, Tsuyokiss has become one of my favourites this season. Too bad it’s over…

Oh yeah, I haven’t explained anything that happened yet have I? Well, Otome confesses her love to Leo, but is rejected…sort of. At the election of the next school council president (I’m not too sure about this part), everyone is awaiting Sunao’s arrival to challenge Erika, but she is too busy crying over her love and Otome. Leo finds her and drags her back to the school, where she gives a re-enactment of her experiences at the school. And when she finishes, Erika shakes her hand…because she accepts her as the next president? After that, Sunao, Leo and everyone else film a movie, and right at the end, Sunao falls on top of Leo and accidentally kisses him. Aww, that part was too short. There should’ve been more commotion! Finally, everyone takes a group photo…

What an excellent episode! It was the best episode to date … and that reminds me, there’s only two more episodes to go. How sad. It’s really gotten good now. I’d say it’s probably my favourite this season. The character designs and overall quality is much better, and I hope it says that way until the end. We wouldn’t a bad ending… This ep, Sunao and Otome confessed their love for Leo to each other, and Subaru made Leo do some serious thinking. The whole episode was kind of sad, but I think that’s what I’ve been looking for in it for the whole time – romantic drama. So touching… I’ll be sad when it finishes. And what was that song that played in the background? It was very soothing and nice to listen to.

Please someone explain … is Otome Leo’s cousin or not?? It says she is in AnimeNFO, but as she’s meant to be one of the paths you can go in the game, doesn’t that mean she might actually go after Leo in the series? So confusing… Either way, I’m rooting for Sunao. And that Suguru and Kani pair seems nice, though the height difference would make Kani look like Suguru’s sister to someone who didn’t know who they are lol. This episode, Leo asks Sunao to dance with him after the festival (well, that’s what I assume, as the only words in that convo I understood were ‘dansu’ [dance] and ‘dare ga?’ ‘ore ga’ ‘dare to?’ ‘omae to’ [who?] [me] [with who?] [you..] ) eheheh. Well anyway, Sunao performs Romeo and Juliet for the festival, but stalls when she sees Otome sit down next to Leo in the audience – how typical… When the dance starts, it seems that everyone has a partner except Leo and Otome, and Sunao just leaves with a broken heart. =( Sad… Oh, and neither do Nagomi and Shinichi. Well, three episodes left. ~Hoping for an awesome ending!~

Oh no… the quality… it’s crap again. Why?! The story is getting really interesting now, so why?? Why did the quality drop so much? So much repetition was used that I couldn’t help but notice every time it happened. This was mostly used in the running scenes where the same frames are just repeated. This happens many other times as well, such as when Konoe is peeling that daikon, when she’s wriggling her body, the dream at the start etc. Too many shortcuts just ruins it. The best possible explanation for this is that the producers are saving up their budget for a grand, spectacular final four episodes! It better be…

Well, the mains things that happen in this episode is that Konoe finally gets her theatre club approved. It happens when Shizuka shows Erika that petition or whatever it was. Anyway, Konoe thinks she had gotten everyone in the class to sign it, but it was in fact Leo. It seems that Konoe has really fallen for him now, but that extremely long preview of the next episode just reveals too much. Or maybe it wasn’t a preview at all, but a lead-in to the next episode. Oh well. During that preview, Konoe sees Kurogane acting all friendly with Leo, and – uh oh – heartbreak… Poor Konoe. While I don’t think there is anyone to challenge Konoe for Leo, she’ll probably get the wrong idea and start causing all sorts of trouble.

Romantic … romantic indeed. Although the being-alone-with-someone-else-on-a-high-place-watching-fireworks-and-kissing is a bit generic – oh wait! They didn’t kiss! Damn Kani… ~Sigh~ Oh well. It was a good episode! Lots of love! I guess Sunao has finally fallen for Leo – with the second consecutive dream about kissing him and almost doing it during the festival – if she hadn’t already. Especially with that ‘Thanks for today, seeya!’ from Sunao (one of the few lines I actually understood xD) The quality standard of this series has definitely been increased, ever since episode 5. Although I don’t think this episode is as good as 5 quality-wise, the story more than makes up for it. It was also nice to see everyone in a kimono (have I said that before? Hmm … have they worn kimono’s before … forgot). Apart from that, the episode was littered with fanservice again – did anyone see that pained look Yoshimi had when she was alone with Erika in the bushes? Ooh, what was going on there? Next episode: what’s this? Who’s that living with Leo? (It’s Otome! ~ right? Isn’t she Leo’s cousin?)

Heh, what was that sub for episode 2? I didn’t download it, but i heard its one-man subber completely screwed it up. I became excited for nothing. It does seem that AnimeU&Serin are continuing the series, but the delay is unbelievable… Anyway, episode 7, titled ‘Taiketsu! Testo de GO!!’ — ‘ Showdown! Test GO!!’ Well, the actual test doesn’t take much of the screen time – most of it deals with Konoe’s ‘daikon’ problem as well as her relationship with Reo, which seems to improve. Konoe gets over her fear and hatred of daikon and seems to semi-forgive Leo. Each episode starts with Konoe having a dream, but this time, that dream is about … Leo! In fact, it’s a daydream – what is she thinking about? And at school too. Must be love – even she was shocked at her dream. I don’t think that argument at the end was all that serious – more like a couple’s quarrel. I don’t really get the daikon costumes though. Like I’ve said many times before, my Jap sucks. If anyone can explain to me, that’d be great. Animation wise, it was pretty good, except for the few reused scenes. The character’s faces weren’t drawn as well as episode five though – I still think that one was the best regarding animation and quality. Just to make things clear, if I critisize this series in any way, it doesn’t mean I dislike it. I enjoy this series, in fact, I like it quite a lot. Reason: unknown … haha. For those of you who dropped this series after a few episode, please pick it up again and give it one more try! Ooh, next episode seems fun – Konoe in a yukata!

Konoe gets kidnapped by Tachibana and taken to an isolated island. During the episode, she runs into Leo, who is still on her bad side, so she runs away from him but ends up falling off a cliff. Leo tries to save her but gets dragged down with her. They are trapped in the water for several hours as they are surrounded by sharks. They are saved in the end by Otome and Tachibana. The episode focuses on Leo and Konoe making up and becoming friends again. I don’t think this episode was as good as the last. This is mainly because watching Sunao and Leo stand still for a third of the show wasn’t that interesting, but the bonding they did was a crucial part of the show. It’s about time, as it’s already halfway through the series. The animation quality was pretty good, though some of the walking scenes depicted the characters moving kind of awkwardly. Netherless, a good episode. Never played the game so I have no idea what’s next.
