Impressions:

The real name of this series is “Koi Suru Tenshi Angelique ~ Kokoro no Mezameru Toki”, but it’s too long so I’ll just call it “Angelique”. Hmm, better than I thought. The character design kinda puts me off though – all the guys are so androgynous! Some of them I thought were female until I heard them speak… ugh. Anyway, I still don’t understand why the universe needs to be saved by an Etoile. The dialogue is far too complicated for me to understand. I don’t think a sub has come out yet. The girl’s been drawn pretty good, but seriously, the boy’s cap and geeky glasses made me think she was a guy pretending to be a girl! But then of course, the summaries of the series I’ve read all talk about the Etoile (female) as the main character, so I guess I shouldn’t have made that assumption in the first place. Seeing as it’s meant to be a shoujo (I think), does this mean that the men in the show are meant to be attractive? Or is it just the reverse-harem with the female lead that’s meant to attract female viewers? Overall, I thought it was an average first episode (considering it’s a shoujo, that’s above average!) I don’t really plan on watching this series this month as I’m trying to marathon Eureka 7 and Tsubasa Chronicles…

EDIT: I’ll keep watching but I won’t be blogging this series…
