Bleach: Episode 167

Face it, the shipwreck has already happened. This episode is quite mediocre, at least when compared to the previous episode. And now we’re going to be shown fillers for the next 60 or so episodes, seeing as how the anime is on the manga’s door step. Unless, the producers decide to reduce the pace of the anime to 1:1 anime:manga ration, which basically means 1 chapter of manga = 1 episode of anime. This is exactly what they’ve done with Naruto, or was the last time I checked. Hmm. But in any case, the fillers might actually turn out good! As for this episode though, I don’t think so.

Well, I’d say the ship wrecked quite some time ago. But ain’t there supposed to happen some more things before this arc is over?
Well, I can’t say this episode was a shipwreck there were so many bad ones over the course of the year I agree with The Fish on this one, about the ep though, I thought that 166 was better, but 167 wasn’t too bad, it was hampered a bit with the flashback that could have been done in the next episode after the fight ends and Grimmjow could see his life pass before his eyes and tell his story, overall I would have given it a 7.5 instead of a 6.5, it wasn’t that bad
hmm u know 6.5 isnt actually a BAD rating. its still ‘above average’. for me, a 7 is ‘good’, and i wouldnt say that this episode is good haha xD

For me, the episode was pretty good. Not as good as 166 but still a lot better than most eps from this arc. I’m actually quite excited about the new filler arc, if done well it could be very entertaining. They ended the current arc in a good place too imo.
I thought the previous episode was FAR superior in almost every way.

Ah, a filler. I only watched bleach for the fillers nowadays since I could just read the manga for the main story.
But the part where they show Grimjow’s past is not as powerful as the one in the manga. :/
Err… Wasn’t there supposed to happen more in this arc? What is this filler-arc, a flashback? Or are they suddenly back to normal life, and then Inoue is kidnapped again and it begins all over again? Does anybody know(I suspect not, as the ep hasn’t come yet…:P)?
