Bleach: Episode 146

Impressions:
Unsurprisingly, that episode was highly cheesy, to my unfortunate dislike. In the manga, everything is funny. But when things become complicated (ie, it needs to be animated), the studio goes and does a bad job of it, executing the manga script quite poorly. Well, things aren’t all that bad. At least finally, Nell is introduce, alongside the arrival of Rukia and Renji. Personally, I’m not too thrilled, as I’m sure most of us know how useless they are…Oh and update on my lack of free time: My exams don’t finish until the 13th of November, so I’m not sure how much blogging I will be able to get done. After that though, I will surely be able to catch up.
The next few episodes will be fillers. ZOMG NOOOO FILLERS!!!! Well, maybe I’ll like them better than this episode. Is it just me, or are the animators getting lazy with some of the technical aspects of the show? Like putting scenes on loop? Or hopefully, it’s just their concern for saving their money for the important and hight-budget episodes of Bleach. Anyway, this episode covers not quite 2 chapters of the manga, and with the fillers coming up, who knows how long it will take before Ichigo meets his first real enemy (and as a hint, its an arrancar with three digits).

yeh i agree the animation lately has been horrible
but it was funny in my opinion and i like nells voice she is the voice of aoi in myself;yourself
i’m really surprised at the poor rating u gave this episode.
i thought the it was insanely funny!
Nel’s “what is your welationship with itsugo” was classic!
and the animation quality was functional at least- there were no significant fight scenes that required it to have great quality animation.
I liked it, then again, it’s Rukia.
And it’s Bawabawa, a giant fucking sandworm. Free points there.
I agree. Sometimes Bleach have ‘funny’ episodes which are not really funny.
It feels liek the studio is TRYING to put humour into the series and failed. I just feel, sometimes you can’t just put humour anywhere. It feels awkward.

i thought the anime was funny!! loved Nel’s voice! the bad part is the cliffhanger at the end. it doesnt thrill me.

I love Nell, fav char from bleach I guess. ^^
But I didn’t like the voice-actress of Nell, I thought it sounded like shit, but well that’s my opinion and everyone has different tastes.
I Think this ep. deserves a better rating!! (not higher than 7, thou) ^^U!
In my opinion it was really funny at times… and about Nell`s voice, it was good! Sometimes sounded a little off… but in the end i think i appreciate the work that the seiyuu (dont remember her name) did put into it!
Uhm… In the other hand, since renji and rukia appeared the animation quality looked a lot better (or was it my imagination!?) but i think the faces looked very well done… so… i dont know!! LOL!
Uhm… that`s all i have to say… ooops! well… the ciffhanger… i dont know if i understand it… cause i dont recall lunuganga attacking again… in that case i guess they included that to start the fillers that way, dont you think!?

But, i dont now… somehow i feel like they will be good enough! the preview didnt showed any retarted face or anything, right!? //god! how long have passed since you posted… and i`m replying again!! hahaha… well, its sunday morning and im bored…

Ahh, it’s good to have Rukia and Renji back in the action. now if somehow these upcoming fillers would disappear…
I thought this episode was quite funny, actually… More funny than they usually are anyway(all that “screaming-and-jawdropping-is-fun”-kind of humour is really not my idea of fun… wasn’t that much of it in this ep). One of the reasons for that may be that Dondo Chakka sounded like a guy in the norwegian version of sesamy street(Maks Mekker AKA Max the fixer). They sound so alike it’s hilarious! As for Nells voice, I liked it. Haven’t read the manga though; I think that has a lot to say on the matter.
The drawings in themselves weren’t all that bad, but in the fight against that sand guy the animation sucked.
Can’t the fillers just be to show of Rukia and Renjis skills? I mean, since that sand guy(and no, I do not remember his name) can only be beaten by water, who else is going to beat him? Hope the fillers won’t last long…

Use water and drench them so the sand grains stick together, then punch the hell out of them. In Ichigo’s case, maybe he can Getsuga Tenchou it
