Bleach: Episode 133

Impressions:
Surprisingly this week’s filler is rather good, and the animation isn’t horrible like the preview from the last episode makes it out to be. Renji’s giant forehead scene lasts for only about a second, so it’s not really noticeable. While the quality itself is pretty high, there is a new distinct drawing style which makes all the characters that suffer from it look hilariously stupid. That’s probably the best part of the episode, though if the whole series were to be like that, I doubt many would like it. The gags are presented in a very crazy way, with everything exaggerated like your average Seto no Hanayome episode. Yup, very amusing! xD
After hearing the ED some more now, I’m beginning to like it quite a fair bit more. Although I don’t think the song matches the animation very well, it’s still an OK song, which gets better as you listen to it. The next episode is titled: The Beautiful Patissier, Yumichika! I really don’t know what Patissier is apart from a bakery, though with the recent fillers being quite decent, my hopes for the next few episodes have risen somewhat. I’m still not sure when the fillers will end, and only when more episode titles are released will the date of which the main story will resume be revealed.
Extra news: It was announced a few chapters back (in the manga) that there would be another Bleach movie coming in December. More information has been released now, and the official site has been updated. It’s going to be about an artefact called the ‘King’s Seal’, which is stolen, causing Hitsugaya to combat the thieves and end up missing. He is declared a traitor, but Ichigo and co. obviously refuse to believe such a thing. Their job then is to uncover the truth behind the theft and clear Hitsugaya’s name (geez, Hitsugaya again? Can’t they put another captain in the spotlight??)

I like the new ED better than the one it replaced. I only liked the last few seconds of the other song; the entire beginning was like nails on a chalk board to me.
The episode was good. I think the Hitsugaya fix is more from his popularity than anything else. No other captain is as popular in Japan I don’t think. My favorite is the coughy one, but you rarely see him.
All said and done I have decided I would prefer filler over extensive stretching any day.

Sabrina-Fair: I think a lot of people disliked the previous ED. I personally hated it. And about Hitsugaya, I like him too, but he’s appearing so much it’s getting annoying. I’d love to see more of Kenpachi or Shunsui. Urahara and Yoruichi have also been favourites of mine, though they aren’t captains.
Leon: Ahh, I still like the last episode. The Hitsugaya x Karin pairing was pretty cute, and the quality was higher.

Man, when Urahara was eating the lollypop, just made me laugh like hell and I don’t have a clue why. It just looked so funny.

Hey good idea for the good characters to take turns to be in the lime light yeah. I wonder if Rukia got one, but I doubt so since she’s in Soul Society already. Ikakku got his and it’s pretty funny.
Oh, I really really really miss Rukia.
-squeals- Ah~, I can’t get enough Whitey-chan! I’m so glad he’s starring the second movie. I’m going to be pissed that people accuse him, though. It’s like Hinamori after “Aizen’s” death. Pissed me the hell off.

the episode has not been subbed because it doesn’t air in japan until wednesday (it’s tuesday now as I’m typing). DB, as far as I can tell, always releases the subbed version of the episode on thursday, unless a problem arises
